Do people not realise the team played 120 mins 3 days ago?

Also, Tottenham are still a pretty good side. Don't be fooled by their 6-1 loss; they were complete crap that day, but that is way below what they are actually capable of doing.

I think Ten Hag did what he could today. We are in a great position for top four.

This is probably the worst game management from him all season. From going to complete control of a match to throwing it away has to be levelled solely at him today.
100%. Subs didn’t work, which isn’t always down to him as generally Fred’s energy can be useful in these situations - but he didn’t even bother changing any form of tactics when it was clear as day we were being plowed in second half.

Really disappointing second half.
Some of these players never left first gear in the second half.

Here we go.
At least 10 pages of embarrassing moaning posts are coming.

Players let him down badly today.

Silly subs maybe, but seriously look at the options we have to bring on. A semi fit, flakey Martial, a super young Malacia, fecking Weghorst. It's not as if he has a back up squad capable of beating any other first 11 prem team like city does.

I cannot lie, I'm starting to have reservations about him. Its like he only coaches the first XI and then the subs have to just go with the flow.

It is becoming a reocurring theme under him that we just throw away the easiest games. Spurs were there for the taking - like Sevilla in the first leg. We completely dominate and then just stop playing. We don't even try. The players look like they've never met each other before or touched a football in their lives. How the hell is that even possible?

This is on him. Silly subs
I kind of agree but I half feel for him in the fact that Make Do United have left him with the likes of Fred as options.

If we have a midfielder who can pass to come on & replace Eriksen I don’t think we look so bad.

Don't really care what criticism I get for this, but I'm finding myself less and less sold on him the more this season continues. Second half performances like this are just too common.

Another one who was an apologist for our previous manager right up until the very end and yet suddenly has impossibly high standards for the new guy.
What are you on about? And this game actually showed you what I meant.

I do think ETH is getting us there or there about depending on if Pep is leaving the City soon.

The substitutions were disruptive and unnecessary. What does Weghorst do, why has he made these substitutions? Ten Hag - woeful tonight and has to take some blame. All on you sir. In saying that, I've lost count of how many easy chances the likes of Rashford and Bruno miss, Liverpool will catch us up if things carry on like this.

I can’t see us winning the biggest trophies under him. Hopefully im proven wrong but he’s a pragmatist.

He’s not even in the same league as Pep for example with attacking play. I trust we can defend most games under him though because he plays it safe a lot… well attempts to…
You do know before Pep joined all the players he complemented somehow joined Mancity. Pep had full of quality technical players in midfield and still spent a fortune.

We have players that can't pass or control the ball. ETH is working with donkeys, literally.

The home performances have been fantastic under him but there's something going on with the away performances.

If we still have the same performances next season then the jury should be out

Watching Fred and Malacia play shite and saying see, his subs were awful really is stupid.

He should have made the changes after fifty minutes. The attitude was honking, and it’s the same shite from the same players season in, season out.

His obsession with Weghorst is fecking weird. Also, Malacia has been a crap signing. Fred was horrible today but he has been ok this season.

I feel for him. Subs were fine on paper, but all of them failed. You’re supposed to be able to rely on your squad, it’s not on Ten Hag that Martial and Fred stunk up the place.

He bought Malacia. And Weghorst.

Would/Should we sack him if he chokes top 4 and then gets thrashed in the FA Cup final (4+ goal defeat)?

Think we need a big summer. He needs to be able to bring on better players to change the momentum.

Fred is baffling and Wout for all his hard work just doesn’t do much for us on the ball.

Not sure why he chooses to bring off players capable of keeping the ball when we need to though.

Honeymoon period over. The same braindead decisions time and again. If he did it once you'd forgive him. Heck if he did it just 3 times you'd forgive him. This is ridiculous.

Moan when he doesn't make subs. When he does and you see the shite he has to bring on, moan again.

Like others have said, this team played 2 hours on Sunday and have injuries to our best CBs.

100% on the players. Should be made to walk back to Manchester before they are even granted the privilege to even look at a Manchester United shirt again. Mentality of a bunch of spoiled lazy pub league players.

The subs were shit but we should’ve been 4 up by the time he needed to make them. Our attackers are nowhere near clinical enough, it’s infuriating to watch.

I maintain my opinion and I don't care about the top reds here. Ten Hag had been great up till the cup final. After that he has been godawful in managing the team and he fecked up a lot of games with weird tactics and subs.

This was a 8/10 season up till winning that cup, after that it has been the same old shit United we know and love.

This is heading towards a very negative end of the season. Top 4 is safe alright (we built a pretty good lead and had games in hand over all our competitors I think, and they're not that consistent) but results have went downhill, performance returned to being shit and the EL exit was very negative.

I'm praying to God we don't really lose the Fa Cup final because let's be honest losing it over such negative end to the season will set up for a pretty damn awful mood going into the summer then next season.

How we end the season is very important. If we win the cup I'm ready to forgive that shitshow last few months, otherwise I'm not confident of next season, like at all.

And I'll say it again, Ten Hag has been awful in managing away games and overall his decisions and tactics have went completely downhill ever since winning that damn Mickey Mouse cup.

The away form is really concerning but I’ll reserve judgement considering Klopp and Guardiola’s first season were arguably worse.
