It's pathetic, I can never envision these players being that "pressing side" that everyone hopes it will be, no matter who the manager is.

They sulk and moan when they lose the ball, rather than try to win it back, it's a mind-set that just can't change from some of them. I can't see someone like Rashford putting his head down and chasing a player after he loses the ball.

I actually really dislike this united team. Just the Biggest bunch of wasters I've seen pull on a United shirt.

I'm glad Ole got away from these.

Good thread timing. I literally just shouted at Rashford to run after the ball, after the Newcastle player dribbled him.

The culture and attitude that Ole established was terrible and will take time to sort out. There’s no quick fix here.

They are a bunch of frauds. I said it after the Watford game. It doesnt matter who the manager is you still should be doing the basics and having a high workrate.

Rashford deciding to complain instead of going after the ball right next to him sums us up as a side.

I cant stand Rashford. He's a lazy fcuk. He epitomises that stinking attitude.

Influencer celebrity millionaire kid. Not a footballer any more, sadly. Look at his hair ffs...

I don't know what is fecking our kid's development. The huge money or the shit influence of figures like Pogba. Probably a mix of both.

We need a leader of men, badly.

Yeah even if we go on and win this...it’s hard to understand how and why we start games so badly.

Still blaming Ole when it’s been like it for 8 years

It doesn't matter who the manager is, this lot are allergic to hard work. They think they just have to turn up.

It's a difficult team to like. Our best players are frustrating a lot of the times, and our worst can be abysmal.

Here's hoping for a full lockdown with no football, because watching us is depressing.

Wow, you actually found a way to drag Pogba there

Been festering for a few years this. Bad attitude and bad habits. Multiple players were allowed to get away with it for years. They were bailed out by their ability to produce moments but now those moments aren’t so often this is the consequence.
I fully blame Ole, McKenna and Carrick for this. They let too many get away with murder for too long. All that bullshit about “improving culture and mentality” and leaving the club in a great position to challenge. It’s as shocking as it’s ever been. The work needed to shift the mentality, attitudes and standard of football is astronomical.

Keane talks about having leaders with strong characters & personalities in a squad - this squad has too many weak players & whiners not willing to fight for anything. Compare the effort these lot play with against City & Liverpool players who have actually won major trophies but still play like they have something to prove each game. Dreadful.

Rashford, Ronaldo, Bruno, all moaning twits! Spend most of the game sulking instead of trying to win back the ball. It’s a trait that unfortunately will never change no matter who’s in charge!

McT on their goal just watches Longstaff run off him to challenge Varane. Criminal

Rashford is the embodiment of where we are as a club. A thriving pr machine off pitch, lacklustre and hopeless on it

Quick turnaround. Up until a few months ago people were banging a drum on how Ole has built such a likeable team.

Players ultimately not committed to the cause.
Happy to pick up a cheque.
Doesn’t seem to be a lot of personal desire to win, or to avoid embarrassing defeats / performances.

I 2nd this, lack of leadership on the pitch is a huge problem for this team, no one there to hold the players accountable. The new psychologist has his work cut out for him if he’s tasked to change the mentality of the players.

We could do with a Jordan Henderson type player, skill wise limited but an organiser and leader in the middle.

Bit too much 'primadonna' vibes from our lads at times.

They need to be not afraid to graft and work hard for it.

Ragnarick's job that.

This issue has been going on since van Gaal, arguably back to Moyes, and people only want to blame Solskjaer for it. It's a culture and club issue that runs far deeper than any manager.

Couldnt agree more on those 3. They'd rather pretend to be injured and have us defend a man down just so they can complain to the ref about an injustice

Ralf needs Keano in as his no2 to kick the absolute feck out of this lot. I've had enough. Cnuts are stealing a living.

United fans got used to warriors on the pitch. Players that would leave it all out there no matter what. These guys jog around like it’s just another job, something to get out of the way.
