Been a huge fan throughout his career of his until he came here....although Id be happy to see it anyway, only way we are getting rid of him is CHina or a huge pay off

When he joined us i was excited to see him return to the right wing and to help balance our attack. Knocking Martial out the team and playing on the left meant Sanchez ruined any excitement i had and dislodged in harmony we had built as an attacking threat.

It was down hill from there

Van gaal has been running his mouth again saying he should go to barca or City instead of united. Also people saying he should go to juventus. Apparently de ligt is a fan of the PL and read rio's autobiography, but pretty sure he sees barca as the pinnacle. 80% chance he goes to Spain. 10% to city, United and juventus 5% each.
Its science.

To be fair van gaal owes united nothing and if i wasn't a united fan and dutch i'd want our best young defender to go to city or barca. Or liverpool to partner van djik.

If Neves even has half as good a career as Moutinho he will have done well. Neves is too slow and immobile for my liking and isn't someone that will elevate our midfield considering he's been underwhelming in the EPL.

We're Manchester United and should be going after players like Rodri who is a much better player compared to Neves.

I dont' think Neves stats for this season show that he is under performing. I think heis just playing a slightly different role and is surrounded by better players in this league than the championship.

He has the room to grow. You do not need rk be mobile if you are clever and have a goos footballing brain. I cannot remember Pirlo being overly mobile.

And no, im not comparing them apart from the lack of mobility

1. He is proberly better suited to the Prem and the Prem is a more competetive league overall. Giving a young CB alot more to think about and learn from than being a CB for a top club in spain.

2. He wouldn't be guarenteed to start at City even with his reputation and right now he needs to be playing as many games as possible.

Its more likely that he will join Barca. He should join United and that is speaking from a neutral point of view. Career wise, it makes sense and he can always join Barca in 5 years or something once learning from the Prem.

Or Portugal could've better players than Neves coming through and he might get overtaken in the pecking order. Benfica have some very promising midfielders coming through from what I've read.
They might, but as it stands he's one of their biggest talents for midfield imo. He's a player I'd like at United, give me some Xabi Alonso or Carrick vibe while being more aggressive. What Benfica MFs? I know about Joao Felix, but who else?

It wasn't that clear sorry, I was just asking.
No problem.

Oh feck, it will be won’t it, god I hope the Saudis buy

Maybe this is the movitation Saudis needed to buy United since them and Qataris are adversaries . Anyways as it is I have read here somewhere that the Saudis are actively trying to pursue a purchase so let's see how it goes .

Newcastle, Leeds, Villa (bought by American), and Nottingham Forest would make the most sense. Basically a club that has history and with backing could jump to the top.

Well he did manage here, so maybe if he'd been more successful we would be a more attractive proposition.

Please not Leeds

Funnily enough if they bought Villa or Forrest they'd be instantly more successful in Europe than PSG & City (even though they both haven't played CL in 40 years).

Surely Newcastle United are the best bet. Big club, big fan base (not just in Newcastle), massive stadium, big City.

Tottenham? Would Levy sell, I have no idea?

But the price of Spurs vs Newcastle is day and night.

If they really wanted to splash out they would buy Liverpool or United.

Liverpool/United would cost a staggering amount of money though as they're established global brands. Tottenham are scratching the surface on becoming that and have just got the infrastructure in place, it's a very good time to buy Tottenham especially as they have a very good core of players so there is very little risk. Taking over Newcastle would require a complete rework of the squad and management and they have the disadvantage of being in a rather unfashionable city. Whereas Tottenham are London based.

I have no idea if Levy would sell though, @SquishyMcSquish

First Herrera, now this. They're really taking that defeat badly.

Next buy United assets strip, relegate, then sell back to the Glazers for another £1 billion leveraged buy out, the the fans pay for! Revenge extracted

I heard Spurs would only sell to Jewish people is that true?

Never heard of this before. Where did you come across that? With the whole controversy surrounding the ‘YID Army’ chants, it’s a bit of a sensitive subject.

Oh man Forest would be fun huh?

For sure, I’ve wanted Forest back in the Premier League for ages. If I was looking for a club to buy though I’d probably opt for the likes of Newcastle over Forest though.
