Can’t fault his commitment to the club through all the shit he’s had thrown at him.

Hope he does well for himself out there

At least the idiots can stop whining about him now. Good luck to the man.

He scored some important goals in big games. Not everyone's cup of tea but we've had 3 different managers who all seemed to like having him in the team.

Celeeeeeebration time come on......!

Might of provided some moments, but was mostly a lazy solution for crap managers.

Never known a player that has left get so many threads about him.

Good luck to him, enjoy the money.

He needs that afro back, or else his head just looks way too small in proportion to his body.

It’s a bit of an odd move, he’s not exactly over the hill. I know Chinese clubs are paying players an absolute fortune but I still find it weird to see top flight players still in their prime moving over there.

Mata next please...
Jesus Christ... I remember just weeks ago he was scoring freekicks like crazy and got us crucial wins, even against Juventus. Now suddenly he is the Phil Jones of right wing?

235k GBP a week. Everyone bar the very best players would take that at 31 I think.

Looks like Periera and Mata are already sharing his space goat badge.

I think Ozil, Alexis, and Kante are the only 3 (reported) on wages higher than that in the PL. He’s laughing.

Shit ton of money though, and this was his big club shot, so wherever he moved was going to be going one way, might as well earn a fortune.

I'm surprised by how many people actually seem to have a pent up hatred for the bloke. He was sadly never able to replicate his Everton form in a consistent capacity but he still popped up with some important goals for yourselves and the love he's receiving from the United players on twitter shows to me how much he was liked around the club.

He was chasing big money in the Summer so I'm not surprised by this.

Wish him all the best though.

So bored of the forum snowflakes who think those of us who recognise how shite Fellaini is hate him, I don't hate him, just mighty happy to see the back of him. Lumping long balls to Fellaini is something I never wanted to see my club resort to. Good riddance.

Not really - we do have some embarrassing and ‘elitist’ members on the site. I was never a fan of his but some of the non sense comments is really sad. I think he bore the brunt of our decline to some extent.

Was going to say exactly the same. Why does not rating a player mean people have pent up hatred of them. Must we fall in love with every player that plays for us?

No, there’s also plenty of threads for people to say how shit he is and how much they detest him, but to go around different Fellaini threads stating the same opinion seems pointless.

I was never keen on him but there’s no need to keep repeating it in every thread about the guy.

He's only a couple of hours away from me now. If he fancies a cuppa or a curry, he's welcome.

Any idea on tax on that?

From google, they have progressive rates from 5% to 45%. Foreigners are only taxed on their China source income for the first 5 years, and thereafter they are taxed on worldwide income. So you would need to look at his contract, as part of the income he is receiving might not be China-sourced income.

His first year with us was a disaster and he bore the brunt of fan’s frustrations during Moyes’ tenure. But Fellaini stood tall (no pun intended) and kept on fighting and won back the respect and admiration of many fans, including this one. Some may say he never had the quality to be a United player, but I think most would agree he had the mentality and the fighting spirit we want to see in United players.

Thank you Fellaini and good luck in China.

He’d be the greatest player in the world if football was played on a ploughed field.

All the best Fellaini, probably the best deal for both parties. Great servant for the club and a top pro.

Good luck to him. Received a disgusting amount of abuse from our own fans. Don’t think he was good enough to be at United but clearly the managers found an use for him.

Good luck to him.

Just months ago Jose gave him a new contract and tried to sell Martial.

Thank the lord for Ole !

I still think it was a mistake letting him leave in january when our midfield is so thin with neither of Fred, Pereira or McTominnay showing they are up to it.

If we get Pogba, Matic or Herrera injured we will be in serious trouble.

Any way hopefully he does well in China, he was a great squad option, and eventhough he is not highly rated here I think he always behaved as a true professional and gave everything he had, whether that was good enough or not is another question, but effort wise he always gave his best.

Good luck to the guy, wasn't good enough for united. thank god we had his no nonsense approach, the players that were good enough for united the ones that have more natural skills played clueless and gutless on the pitch home and away natural players that hid behind you, so thank you farlani for helping man United getting us through these years and sorry that a large section of fans are still living in la la land and will always be blind to facts

It's more about what he represented. Anti-football.

Fellaini himself could not really be faulted.
