On a serious note, I wanted him here so badly last year, the guy is a diamond in the rough.
 
No penalty shootout needed. Croatia are superior and will get the goal in extra time.

You just knew. Second half we would be deep and allow pressure on ourselves. But it’s a World Cup semi final, any team would drop a yard if you haven’t got the quality.

I’d be gutted not to get to the final BUT I’m proud of this England team. The last good performance before this World Cup for Croatia away when we beat them 4-1, Walcott hat-trick.

We need to keep going in this extra time, we need to believe.

I think it's generally mental tiredness that would be an effect but they have some experienced players in big games.

It hasn't been a taxing world cup for them. Its very strange to see
 
It's been a weird game. In the first half, Croatia looked like the occasion had gotten the better of them while England were playing with confidence. In the second half, it somehow got reversed with England being nervy while Croatia grew into the game.

Dunno, even though Croatia won two shoot outs can't say Croatia ones were that great. Can see Pickford saving two. Depends on how good England penalties are as obviously Subasic capable of saving some.
 
I struggle to understand why Lingard keep getting games with England and us. He's a nice guy but he's the football answer to spam. He's frustrating and he's hardly ever useful. Its like playing with 10 players with him around

Bit unfair, he held his nerve in the penalty against Colombia and then again in the shootout. Think he deserves some slack.

Well Kane has been bottling chance after chance this game, and was also suspect in his positioning. Also, did you notice I said "apart from Trippier", it would pay to maybe pay attention to my post. Besides, Maguire, Stones and Lingard have had just as if not better contributions all cup.

England realized with half hour left what they were about to do. First time we've seen previous fallbacks from past tournaments hit this team.

He's been quite good in this world cup, although he has been bad today.
 
Have the Croatia bench got the flu or something? How they're continuing without a sub is amazing.
