Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

If this transfer finally pulls through Jose has to go down as the greatest 'player swap' managerial legend.

Ashley Cole for William Gallas.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Samuel Eto'o

Mikhitaryan for Alexis Sanchez

In each case, he got the better deal and in the first two cases, the players he got, won him major titles.

The Zlatan for Etoo'o case was particularly insane. I think Barca sent Etoo plus about 35 million pounds (I can't remember exactly) to Inter for Zlatan. Etoo ended up winning Inter the treble.

Why do people think this is going to happen tonight when there is nothing that indicates it. No reports of done deal between Raiola and Arsenal. No reports about Alexis heading to Manchester or Mkhitaryan to Arsenal.
Ahhh don't kill the muppet.

starting to get seriously offended with all these pundits and reports. Let's make one thing clear. Manchester United is the biggest club in the WORLD. In the fe*cking world. Fu*ck your Madrids, Fu*ck your Barca's.

Are we paying Sanchez a lot of money. Probably.. However it's money we generate for ourselves. No Sheiks, no dirty oil money.

F*ck the world. The world is red#Man Utd

YOU SIGNED JONNY EVANS, WE SIGNED ALEXIS SANCHEZ!!

You signed Evans, Jonny Evans,
I hope that this won't make you mad,
But we signed Sanchez, Alexis Sanchez
He's gonna make you really, really sad.

(needs work but I'm running for my train)

Feels like we're in Schrodinger's transfer here.

I live in London and have just seen a helicopter near my house. He is on the way lads.:lol::lol:

When you...need a somescreen to Gazump Man City.. Thats Lucas Moura
Then the press fabricate the wages you'll make thats Alexis..

Arsenal have wanted Miki for ages you would think they would be as eager to sort it as us tomorrow surely will be the day Jose will not want Sanchez playing against Palace

There is nothing new, A swap so no money as both players worth 35M, wages up to 350Kpw depending on... Might be a payoff to agents and an offset to arsenal. 10-15M total max. That's it apart from the small print between the parties themselves.

Lot of BS being written that it's over 500Kpw and in total a 200M deal but that's way over the odds. Not that I actually know but its very very unlikely

Oh, and on the bus home last Sunday... I thought of a load of United BS and then was looking forward to United WS... With Sanchez

I still love Jonny Evans so it's hard for me to make fun of a club for signing him :(

I REALLY do not remember Gallas playing for Arsenal, at all. Just seen on wiki he played for them from 2006-2010?? It's just completely gone from my memory

'The Deal of the Year':

Why do you think Mourinho has that cheeky grin, talking respectfully about AFC (since when does that happen?) and walking around with a semi all day?

People would say "But he's paying £30m for a player with 4 months left in contract" but people like that do not see the whole picture.

Utd's move means ..........

Getting a £80m player for £30m so its a bargain regardless.

Moving for him now even if it means stumping up cash is the only reason they were able to steal Sanchez from City, gazumping their biggest rivals in the process.

Getting rid of what he considers deadwood in Mhikitaryan and off the wage bill.

............. to top it off this has been engineered to actually cost them nothing (or £10m as per our latest demand), its basically swapping a player they don't want for a £80m player for next to nothing on top.

This is the deal of the year ffs!!

What? The pic of him almost crying after the 2-2 match away at Birmingham (where Eduardo broke his leg) is legendary.

Famously sulked on the halfway line against Birmingham when they were given a penalty. Wenger making him captain was madness. Everyone hated him in the dressing room. Such a poor influence.

Did Arsen Wenger mentioned in his press conference that the deal might be collapsed at any moment? Just read from an Arsenal friend!

If we are denied Alexis vs Burnley just because of the fat fecker Mkhi and his penny squeezing agent

FFS.

Mkhi will face a backclash like no one else if this falls through due to him.

John Cross has written the same article for the past few days.
