If the Mkhi deal can’t be done, can’t we just give Them 35m like they wanted?

Or maybe there is a wage issue?

I maintain that if Mhki wants to stay wih us, it won't effect the deal - as long as Arsenal sign one of their other targets. it makes it easier if one of their targets is one of our players though, for obv reasons.

I think they said they won't sell without a replacement - Mkhitaryan would be that replacement I guess.

Malcom could be replacing Walcott?

Raiola's comments suggest to me that if Mhki is involved, then no cash will be involved. Decent that.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think Chelsea's wage bill is smaller then what most people think and believe Hazard is their highest earner on around £190k a week. So in that situation they are similar to Citeh in terms of Sanchez would immedieditly become their highest earner and that could cause dressing room disharmony

Raoila will always say yes to his players moving around. Gets those dollar signs in his eyes.

In other words: it's on, muppets.

Fair play to Miki. You wouldn't want to go to a lower placed team from Utd, regardless of what your current form is. And that too to Arsenal who are facing crisis with Walcott, Sanchez, Ozil all set to leave and the manager for so many years would probably leave in a year or two, leaving the club in loads of confusion. To make it worse, Arsenal's transfer plans and ambitions are really chaotic even now.
If you were a player from a different league and getting a chance to play in PL for first time, maybe you would sign up for that. But being in league and seeing how Arsenal functions, it is hard to agree to a move.
He would probably want to remain at Utd till summer and see if he has other options.

If Mkhi stays and screws the deal the hostility he'll get will be unpleasant.

Micky to arse blatently stuck because of the shitty wage packet

If Mkhi refuses to move, then I hope we wont play him again and he trains with the youth team the rest of the season.

I think the eventual outcome will be Mkhi going to them on loan til the end of the season with Arsenal paying most of his wages.

If we can't come to an agreement for a transfer, that would make sense for everyone. We offload a player who won't get many minutes anyway, Mkhitaryan gets to play regularly and earn himself a transfer in the summer and Arsenal get a replacement without committing to a large fee.

If, a big if. It is true HM won't move, what's the alternative?

Sit on the bench for the next 2 years?

Might as well release/buy his contract if that's the case.

100% Real footage of Alexis sanchez in manchester rain trying to decide which club he should sign for.

Terrible meme work here. Absolutely shocking compared to some of the gold we've seen over the past 24 hours.

Whenever Raiola is yapping something will happen shortly. Don't worry guys, the fat man will come through for us again.

I think that too, Mkhi can stay because Arsenal clearly needs money and Sanchez is definitely not staying. Wenger has no bigger leverage in any case and Alexis can even join us in the summer, this time without one smallest problem from Arsenal's side.

If they're smart, they'll sell also Ozil and take much needed cash for their new signings right now.

Some people are way too harsh on Mkhi. You just can't force him to go to Arsenal, he has a choice.
This deal doesn't depend on Mkhi, if he wants to stay, we will just pay what is necessary to Arsenal.

Mkhi needs to come to terms with the fact he isn't going to get much playing time anyways regardless of whether Sanchez arrives or not. I do feel a bit for him but the sooner he realises that he doesn't feature in Mourinho's plans the quicker this deal will be done. If he stays it's not going to be nice feeling with him knowing that he isn't wanted anymore and it's just going to make things worse.

Their wage bill is £10m a season less than United's. Most surprisingly City's is £34m less than United's, City 'allegedly' up to every trick in the book.

I don’t think we’ll agree on this, but it a question of one’s perception of a “lower status club” (how is that quantified in this instance because we are only above Arsenal for first time in years) and actually vocalising it at the negotiating table. It’s not like we’re pinging him to Bournemouth

It would be like DiMaria, or potentially Bale, saying I want compo for moving to United because they’re a lower status club.

I think they’ll look for incentives to encourage the move, but I doubt saying that would encourage anyone to make a deal.

Negotiations are fluid, and Raiola will use ANY arguments for economic benefit to his client and himself. He might not say Arsenal is a lower status club, but he will mention the lower status of not playing in CL this year and possibly next year as well.

or, he would want to work his way into the team, given he's a professional footballer with ambition?

Players move from higher placed to lower placed teams all the time. That's not the issue. The issue is what you summarised spot on in bold.

Even I'd not move to Arsenal if I was a player, and I am a fan!
