Pretty embarrassing. Not only our offence is terrible, even our defence is having a bad day.
Tuanzebe is being lost in midfield

    To be expected

De Gea - World class MOTM so far
Smalling and Jones - The football equivalent of the Chuckle Brothers
    Carrick - Is he playinG?
Rooney - Everything from his hair to his football is wrong. Likely to be sent off in the second half
    Lingard - Seriously who?

Bailly is a better right back than the guy who has been playing there constantly for the past 4 years. When last did Valencia even get to the oppo box

Couldn't agree more with this. Admittedly he is a terrible footballer these days but, he has given us so much in the past.

Exactly, like one of those hollywood agents who drop their clients like a sack of potatoes as soon as their next album or movie flops. Embarrassing to see fans here exaggerating in their criticism. Yes, Rooney has declined and isnt a starter anymore, but he more often then not put the effort in on the pitch.

Just because we expected this type of game, it doesn't make it easier to watch. Second to the ball all over and just being out worked by Spurs. Would like to see us contributing a bit more to the game. There's places in the Europa League final up for grabs.

Come on, what more did we expect given that side for this game. How many of these players are gonna start the opening game next season...?

The state of Smalling and Jones is very worrying before the final. Why the feck did Bailly got that red ?

I respect Neville's opinions highly especially as a pundit and commentator but he made one really daft comment in the first half. Something about Spurs showing us the level we want to be at.

Last time I checked the level Utd want to be at, is Champions. Not 2nd. Not European flops. If anything Chelsea is the level we want to be at, seeing as y'know they actually are the PL winners. I'm pretty sure we can look back on some of our previous teams for a barometer of where we want to be.

As big of an idiot as the other 10...Are you watching the game?

Yes, and among 10 had outfield players (De Gea has been fantastic), one of them is standing out like a sore thumb. A 16 lb bucket of cholestrol who can't control a ball. And I'm not the only one who's noticed that.

After DDG performance in this half, Jose should really think playing him in the final!
romero deserves to play - he has also been outstanding whenever picked. if only some of the outfield players were as good as our keepers

I cannot watch Daley Blind make another long pass down the side. Ffs play proper football down the middle

Not certain you can blame Blind. Often when he gets the ball, we have 6 players behind him that were defending, so there isn't much of an outlet available. It's just the way we are playing.

Most of them? That's the issue, our squad is so bad.

De Gea, Mata, Martial, Smalling, Jones, Rooney, Lingard, Carrick will all be here no?

This kind of a performance is imo a direct result of Mourinho's approach. What I mean is as he has given up on the league, his players have too. They are going through the motions.

Unacceptable imo. Whatever the team SAF always made sure we tried to win.

This is no different to Moyes. Moyes words were defeatist whilst Mourinho's aren't but ultimately the approach is the same.

    He won't now. Stubborn cnut!

He's already planning on selling him to RM. The only thing you can say is that Jose does get feckin good goalies in.

Pretty good counters towards the end. That is what we are trying to achieve IMO. Just not coming off. Don't think it will either. Can clearly see a little better quality down the middle would work wonders.

It's very evident we have been set up to conserve energy, defend and just go home. I don't care about this match, evidently nor does anyone at MUFC. It's fair enough though because if we win the Europa League it's all worth it.
