The best intro thread got me remembering some absolute gems that I'd forgotten about. Some of them I couldn't post the intro for because it wasn't that great on its own, but made me remember how much I adored the game. What are your top fives? Having only really been gaming for ten or twelve years, my top five list looks something like:
1. World of Warcraft - I know this is pretty depressing, but considering how much time I've sunk into this game I must enjoy it on some level!
2. Final Fantasy VIII - My childhood, gone. And what a story!
3. FIFA 98: Road to World Cup - Over a decade old, but still the greatest football game ever made.
4. Mass Effect - I only played this last year, but it was staggeringly good. The best game I've played for years.
5. Sacrifice - This game never did as well as it should. It was way ahead of its time in terms of gameplay and graphics, and the story and voice-acting (Tim Curry, people!) were absolutely top notch. Loved it.
