Your predictions for the next run of fixtures (now, post-Ole)

I was right about the last 3 - 1-1-1

We'll do the same, as per usual, win with moments but struggle against well structured teams:

Watford (A) - Win
Villarreal (A) CL - Draw
Chelsea (A) - Loss
Arsenal (H) - Draw
C. Palace (H) - WIn
Young Boys (H) CL - Win

I imagine we'll still be in 6th place post-Young Boys.

Watford (A): 1-1 draw
Villarreal (A) CL: 3-1 loss
Chelsea (A): 4:0 loss (Lukaku obvious scorer if he plays)
Arsenal (H): 0-2 loss
C. Palace (H): 1-1 draw
Young Boys (H) CL: 2-0 win

Watford might be a win, but that’s about all I can see us maybe winning until the Young Boys game, which might be meaningless by then anyway.

Palace have looked so good recently that I can see them winning as well, but lets be optimistic on that one

I feel the same sadly. Sad that a Watford win might kick start us.

W,D,L,D,W,W. Scrappy wins but unfortunately Ole is going nowhere, makes me sick to be honest but this club we all know, doesn’t give two shits about the fans just finances.

Watford (A) - D 1-1 Tough game
Villarreal (A) CL - D 0-0 Both content with the draw
Chelsea (A) - W 1-0 Fluke
Arsenal (H) - W 2-0 Convincing
C. Palace (H) - D 2-2 Defensive mistakes FC
Young Boys (H) CL - W 2-1 Nervy win

Watford should be a win despite a rough performance.
Villarreal not feeling at all confident. Think we lose, by a small margin but they'll be the better team
Chelsea will beat us and they'll do it comfortably.
Arsenal is another loss, our record isn't great against them recently and our confidence and form will probably be in the toilet again
Crystal Palace could go any way. Unconvincing win?
Young Boys we should win, theres just too big a gap in quality and too much of our season on the line for Ronaldo or someone else not to drag us over the line

Watford (A) anything can happen
Villarreal (A) CL Lose or Draw
Chelsea (A) Lose
Arsenal (H) anything can happen
C. Palace (H) anything can happen
Young Boys (H) CL anything can happen

The one thing I'm absolutely certain of is losing to Arsenal at home.

I think Greenwood is absoloutely gonna tear teams to shreds. Gotta feeling about it. Nobody is taking note because they want to throw him away for shiny new Sancho. He's had a couple wobbles West Ham and Liverpool. But that boy is on absoloute FIRE.

Heard Ronaldo prefers playing with him in training as his runs are direct, don't know how true that is but it makes no difference.

My prediction is Greenwood is about to have a great couple of months. His learning rate is frightning.

Watford (A) - Win
Villarreal (A) - Win
CL Chelsea (A) - Draw
Arsenal (H) - Win
C. Palace (H) - Draw
Young Boys (H) CL - Win

Watford (A) - Win
Villarreal (A) - Draw / Close loss - clearly outplayed
CL Chelsea (A) - Lose (Potential Ole Sack?)
Arsenal (H) - Shit Win / Boring Draw
C. Palace (H) - Win
Young Boys (H) CL - Win (Big game from either Ronaldo, Bruno or Rashford)

I think Sancho might finally step up at some point during this run, Cavani to be instrumental in the big games (Which I think will be Arsenal and Palace as I don't see us doing shit against Chelsea)

He will then say only one loss in six games, even though we will have only got five points out of twelve in that period. Seven points dropped. He has a great knack of glossing over problems.

Pretty simple:

Watford (A) - W
Villarreal (A) - D
Chelsea (A) - L
Arsenal (H) - L
C. Palace (H) - W
Young Boys (H) - W

Watford (A) - W - 2-0
Villarreal (A) CL - Narrow L - 2-1
Chelsea (A) - Comprehensive L - 4-1
Arsenal (H) - Scoreless draw
C. Palace (H) - D - 2-2
Young Boys (H) CL - D - Due to nerves and YB having their cup final 1-1

Watford (A) Win
Villarreal (A) CL Loss
Chelsea (A) Skin of the Teeth Draw
Arsenal (H) Scruffy Win
C. Palace (H) Draw
Young Boys (H) CL Uninspiring win by one goal

I am really not seeing a massive improvement in results or performances as Ole will be reluctant to change what is clearly broken.

Can't believe people don't realize this yet
Indeed, our record against them has not been great even before Ole. People are living in the past somewhat with regard to how we deal with Arsenal.

So it looks like Ole is staying and there are multiple threads to gripe about that; looking at what's coming up, objectively speaking, and in consideration of our squad, morale and the opposition, how do you see the following games going:

Watford (A)
Villarreal (A) CL
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
C. Palace (H)
Young Boys (H) CL

Given the squad we have, and the fact we have Ronaldo, is there a turnaround in the offing? I'm not trying to bait - some people genuinely believe so - and if you think no there isn't, there's no need for a tirade as to why not. It's just that when push comes to shove, do your thoughts align with your feelings? It's easier to predict a gloomy run in line with your thoughts, but we've still got an exceptional squad who have it in them to go on a run under anybody's tutelage.

Can we try and keep the Ole stuff out of this or to a bare minimum, as thoughts you have about him have undoubtedly been espoused over the international break at the very least. This is purely about the fixtures we have and the teams we go into them with - if you think it'll be a continuation of what we saw pre-break, just list your results and a breakdown of the why's if you wish, but again, please try to not make this thread a conflation of many others on the site right now.
Watford (A) - Win
Villarreal (A) CL - Draw
Chelsea (A) - Draw
Arsenal (H) - Loss
Ole Sacked
C. Palace (H) - Draw
Young Boys (H) CL - Win

Starts today! Any last minute entries? Think it's interesting to pool thoughts before a ball's been kicked and we actually get an insight into the feeling in the camp - guessing a great/shite performance today could heavily sway some for the remainder of the fixtures, for example.

I'll go:

Watford (A) - Win

Carrick:

Villarreal (A) CL - Loss (we historically draw, but I think this one will be a defeat, unless Ronaldo)
Chelsea (A) - Loss
Arsenal (H) - Loss
C. Palace (H) - Draw
Young Boys (H) CL - Win

I said in a different thread 9 to 12 points out of all those fixtures, I think I may have over stated it slightly going by todays performance so far

Watford (A): 1-1 draw
Villarreal (A) CL: 3-1 loss
Chelsea (A): 4:0 loss (Lukaku obvious scorer if he plays)
Arsenal (H): 0-2 loss

Looks like I was too generous...

Can still get the draw in the second half.

OP and title edited.
Anyone want to revise their predictions? Done mine: can’t see how we don’t lose the next 3.

We aren't going to become tactical powerhouses overnight. Our sleepwalking players may also need time to get out of their slumber.
Villarreal (A) CL - L
Chelsea (A) - L
Arsenal (H) - W
C. Palace (H) - L
Young Boys (H) CL - W

Where we are right now, I consider it futile to guess at results. We are now bad enough to be plausible losers against pretty much anyone. And we cannot know how the team will respond under Carrick, though it's hard to see what he and the other assistants can really do that they haven't already done. It's all up in the air.
