Women's Euros 25 will be played 2-27 July in Switzerland. Sixteen teams are in the draw including Switzerland as hosts. The draw is at 5pm (UK) on the 16 December.

Qualified (world rankings in brackets): Spain (2), Germany (3), England (4), Sweden (5), Netherlands (10), France (11), Denmark (12), Italy (13), Iceland (14), Norway (16), Belgium (19), Portugal (22), Switzerland (23), Finland (26), Poland (28), Wales (30).

They'll be drawing the groups from four seeded pots. The seeding was based on the Euro qualifiers, which is why England are in Pot 2 for example, despite their world ranking. Top two from each group will qualify for the knockout stage.

Pot one: Switzerland + Spain, Germany, France
Pot two: Italy, Iceland, Denmark, England
Pot three: Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Belgium
Pot four: Finland, Poland, Portugal, Wales

SWI, ICE, BEL, FIN - please and thank you.
Fair to say a lot of people will be hoping to draw Switzerland

There's always at least one team that shocks everyone by being much better than they "should" be. Usually some combination of solid defending and a misfiring opponent, sometimes a team that genuinely rises to the occasion.

Do you reckon Finland can be the surprise package for this one?

We need more respect on Ramona Bachman's name ;)

If we get a decent group, who knows. We’ve got a better & younger team and a better coached team than in 2022. But if we get a similar group (SPA, GER, DEN) to that summer, no chance.

Think the hosts might actually be the one for this tournament.

Having five teams (out of 16) from the north is pretty wild.

Draw is live on BBC2 now, but not right now of course. We're at a Convention Centre in Laussanne

UEFA have got way too many presenters, travel videos and random performers to do this in a rush.

At least Ian Wright is doing the opening chat sequence.

How can anyone not love him?

Wonder what Marchetti does when there’s no draw to be done? Can see him in a suit practicing 24/7 at his house. Or then UEFA holds him in the basement.

I often wonder who writes these terrible scripts that he can't deliver.

You're in with a shout here

Yeah Norway will be tough for sure. We beat Iceland in 2023 and we can definitely surprise the hosts. At the very least I'm expecting to do better than last time around (P3 W0 D0 L3 GS1 GC8)

Who’s thinking of attending? Would love to have some beers with fellow caftards.
I did a 2019 WWC knockout stages tour in France - really enjoyed it despite not knowing many of the players or the teams prior to the event.

Not sure if I can do any of this one yet, but I'll try.

Harder vs Eriksson. Both captains of their countries too.

Yeah that sounds nice. I watched all the Finland games in 2022 + two England games (OT & Brighton). Probably can't do a whole group stage (although any part of Switzerland sounds a whole lot better than MK for two weeks  ), but maybe a couple of Finland's games and a couple of knockout games could be possible.

I guess Lionesses should be relatively content

Group A was the dream but could have been a lot worse too

Was at the last final so considering it, but Switzerland is bloody expensive

It is possible to stay in France/Germany and train in for games though

Yeah it is unfortunately.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking too.
