We should hire Thomas Frank

He’s probably not ready, but he does look a terrific manager. The way they pressured Chelsea at the end and repeatedly sustained their attacks was impressive, I’d love to see football like that at United again.

I'd be wary about any individual from Brentford, player or manager. Their entire club being so driven by data and analytics makes me wonder if a lot of the individual pieces have been brought together to perform better than they would elsewhere.

Indeed. His support behind the scenes is massive and he doesn't really drive it. It would require a complete culture change at United for him to fit and that's highly unlikely.

I’d rake Thomas the Tank engine at the moment.

I think almost every other Premier League manager is tactically more astute than Ole - they pretty much have to be if they’re going to keep their jobs. But NONE of them are United legends, except for Bruce - and he could be available soon…

What he is doing at Brentford is impressive, give him his dues.. but united is the biggest footballing job In the world.

It’s been a while since we could objectively say something like that, now it just looks a bit silly. We are far from the club we used to be, haven’t won the league in 10 years and have an amateur in charge. If the job was the biggest in football, this bloke wouldn’t have been given it.

it is the biggest job in football though. Or it’s atleast up there with the biggest clubs. Not many managers can handle it/make a success of it. We were very very spoilt having sir Alex.

We currently have the worst manager in the premier league….I’d take many and certainly Frank over Ole
