Firstly, we don't know for sure if any of the players have home gyms. I would suspect not. Logically, it would make sense, but so many things about this club have me in disbelief that I believe that the club's employees all follow the opposite of the logical decision.
Secondly, a home gym cannot compete with a fully equipped gym with multiple machines, racks and other equipment.
If you train at home for 1 week, then attend a fully equipped commercial gym, you'll instantly realise the value of a commercial gym (or in this case, the gym at Carrington).
Well, we play like absolute crap. In long periods of matches, we can barely string more than 3 passes together. We get tired after geggenpressing for 30 minutes. Whatever the players are doing isn't working and they should perhaps adopt the strategy that the GOAT uses.
If I were a player who is looking to improve himself, I'd copy what the GOAT does. If the GOAT says that he is doing gym training after on-pitch training today, I'm copying him.
I won't become the GOAT, but by copying him, I'll probably improve a heck of a lot.
