Live on MUTV

Three weeks later and we meet again, this time in the last group game of the U18 Premier League Cup. A repeat of that 8-0 away win would be nice, and most likely (99.9%) enough for us to advance to the quarters.

Group B

Leeds 2 +5 6
United 2 0 3
Spurs 2 -1 3
Leicester 2 -4 0

Looking at the other groups and their second placed teams, it's very likely that only the group winner goes through here.

It's pretty simple really. We need to beat Leeds by three goals or more to go past them. We also need an equal or a better result than Spurs (vs Leicester) to stay above them. Fail to do either of those and we're out.

Realistically if we do our job properly we shouldn't have to worry about Spurs. This team is more than capable of scoring goals. We've scored three or more goals in 10/13 games. In those three matches we scored two each time. Eight clean sheets too in 13 games.

Devaney's awareness is excellent

Then Amass probably isn't. If we're not careful, we will lose him. Aston Villa are allegedly interested in him

Not one credible source has stated that. He’s going nowhere, very highly rated at the club. He’s been on the first team bench 12 times as a 17-year old. Nothing to be frowned upon.

I really hope so. I would have thought he would have got a few minutes by now though .

Leeds are certainly getting chances. Already couple of very good clearances from Devaney and Amass to prevent what would effectively have been tap ins.

Leeds are proving quite tough to break down today

Kamason is on fire. Another brilliant run into the box, Scanlon somehow fails to convert it to an open net.

Need Thwaites on for Baumann 2nd half, not enough control so far.

Needed that, really well worked goal.

Smart movement from Scanlon and he left totally unmarked to tap into the open net from Ibragimov's' pass.
