Did they listen to the complaints about no live U18s. Seems a lot more on recently.

Think they have shown all the home games and away games that are nearby. So they have improved, a little. The U21s is the bigger problem.
 
So no sub keeper today. Good to see Lusale from the start and Sekou Kaba in the squad again. Plunkett on the "wrong" side, but I think I've seen him there before. If not with us then it was in some of the clips I saw from his time at Villa.

He has played right back for United before yes.
 
Why is Ibragimov on the bench ?
I thought he has been the standout performer this season?

Why wouldn’t he be? They all need minutes. And even the top talents need the experience of coming on from the bench and trying to make an impact.
 
We need to move the ball quicker and switch sides like Baumann just did. Too easy for Stoke at the moment, United struggling to use the flanks and finding space in the final third.
 
Wonder what the possession stats look like. We’ve had a lot of it but are failing to get into the box and converting it to any kind of chances.
 
That Stoke defender with the Afro is quality
 
Otagbayo is really good - that is a player we should look at. Apparently signed from Stockport just a few months ago.

Apart from Man City in the opening fixture, Stoke is the first team to keep a clean sheet against us at HT.

Good play from Fletcher and Scanlon to release Obi, who tries to chip the keeper with his left foot but can’t get the ball high enough. A bit better.
 
A couple of decent runs early on but Lusale has really failed to get past his man again today. Good defending from the full-back too though.
 
Guess the obvious subs would be Ibragimov on for Baumann (with Thwaites moving deeper) and Mantato on for Lusale.
 
Both subs already adding a bit of urgency to our team. Even though we’ve done slightly better in the second half we’re still struggling to break them down.
 
Well done by Obi - and really clumsy by Otegbayo who has been so impressive up until that point
