Matic, Mikel, Fabregas, Ramires and Oscar for 3 midfield spots seem ok.

Hazard, Costa, Willian, Schurrle, Oscar for 3 striker options. (discounting Torres/Ba).

Seems like enough games to go around for everyone.

I'd say Mikel/Ramires might be the most dispensable, if they were to sell.
You forgot Salah and Van Ginkel.

Mikel is being offered around by the club to Italy.

I think Mikel is on his way out of Chelsea.. No way will he get much game tins if Khedira is bought

Allegri is such an uninspired choice for a new manager. I didn't rate Conte that much but Allegri is even worse.

Imagine bringing in a donkey of a manager knowing he is pretty much despised by one of your best players and arguably one of Italy's best players of all time. It's bizzarre.

The replies to any of the United's official Twitter account's tweets are embarrassing to say the least.

Interesting that Liverpool dont fancy Bojan.. Surely a better option than Jay Rodriguez or Rickie Lambert!

Just shows how good Mourinho's record is. The other 3 are all in their 60s and Mourinho is either top or joint top in those categories.

Since Jose first became Porto manager, Van Gaal has spent just over two years in top level club management where trophies were expected, his stint at Barcelona and Bayern. He's had two spells managing the Dutch national side and five years managing AZ. So the stats are skewed a bit. Van Gaal may be over 10 years older than Mourinho but Mourinho has spent pretty much 10 years at 'trophy expectant' clubs.

Had Jose decided to have a total of 7 years managing sides such as, say, Tottenham (AZ equivalent in England, perhaps) and the Portuguese national team and van Gaal spent his time at Inter, Madrid and Chelsea then he may well have won more too.

It's an open secret that tapping up happens. Every club does it.

That's true - but I thought they do it through agents. Calling the player seems to be on another level. Not that I mind to be honest, would much rather he go Chelsea, where he'd improve them a little, than go to Arsenal, where he would improve them a lot. I don't agree with tapping up if I'm honest - I know all clubs do it, even United; but you'd think the common courtesy is to have a bid accepted first. I would hate it if other clubs do it to our players.

No if they've also had a bid accepted?

Apologies, wasn't aware that a bid had been accepted.

I don't think there are any real 'tapping-up' rules anyway.

I think there is a rule somewhere - didn't United do something with Phil Jones which Blackburn got pissed off with and we ended up paying them a few extra million to keep their mouths shut?

I hope we add a good "% of future sale" clause on Bebe, got a feeling that he's going to do really well at Benfica..
