So, despite weeks of having nothing from Utd, English hacks suddenly have info stating no interest in Vidal?? Either someone at the club doesn't have a clue or those hacks are getting used.

Highly doubtful. Van Gaal will want him as soon as he's available. If he's fit again by late Oct as some have suggested, that will be 2 or more months of football to evaluate him before the winter window.
Isn't this the same routine as with Kroos? We go so far and then suddenly announce he's not a target any more. I suspect the reason we didn't get Kroos had more to do with him than us, so I suppose the same is possible here, though it hasn't seemed that way so far.

I definitely think Rio was leaking stuff last season but it's also been said that Woodwood was constantly briefing the press last season. Especially in comparison to Gill who seemed to think of the press the same way Fergie did.
From the sounds of things Rio leaving and Woodwood learning from his mistakes last year mean we seem to be going about things a lot quieter this Summer. I much prefer it this way.

-Leaking team news is one thing but I doubt Rio, or any of the players for that matter knew exactly what was going on behind the scenes. All the leaks will probably come back to Moyesey.
