well the fact that white stig started in 2005 and schumacher was still racing in f1 till 2006 is a pretty good clue as well...
Top gear wouldn't be the same without may, hammond is expendable.

Yeh, that's what I thought, too. He was in the country anyway as Ferrari's advisor at the British Grand Prix, they were sending down this incredible piece of kit to Top Gear - it would make sense that they'd insist he drove it and not the regular Stig whom they know nothing about. And once he was there, why not interview him?
Ben Collins is the normal Stig, I'm sure of it.

I would have liked to have seen Schumacher have a proper go around the track with the Lacetti, just to see his time against the other F1 drivers who have done the lap.
i was expecting some sort of F1 driver as it was the british grand prix, but you can hear the real stig's voice in this little bit of interview, about 2.20 in

YES!...I was incapable of actually watching the show for a mnute...I was glad when they switched to the Dubai skit cos I was loosing all ability to follow the show! The on in blue was especailly gorgeous...

I had no idea what they were talking about during that news part tbh, got so distracted watching them both... i'll need to rewatch it. Thought it was a good episode last night, I'd go the Veron every time personally, but the Mclaren F1 is a beautiful car.
