Yeah so I have a Japanese Account, but I cannot read Japanese
That pretty much holds true for me too, all be it that my Xbox is gathering dust while my PS3 gets all the action.
I've still yet to see anyone explain why PSN is a joke and why LIVE is so much better than the FREE PSN service.
Although trying to setup a private game on UFC is nigh on impossible something, but I put that down to the developers of the game.
So what, I have to pay £23 a year for live, what's that work out at? £1.91 a month? Oh no, what a rip off!![]()

They added animated themes with FW 3.0
But what is that fee for? Do PC online gamers pay a fee? No!
That looks pretty cool. My updates going on right now, will check it out. I'm assuming its free?
The only way you seem to be able to promote the PSN is by saying it's FREE. So what, I have to pay £23 a year for live, what's that work out at? £1.91 a month? Oh no, what a rip off!![]()
Give me Xbox Live anyday, it's fantastic. So many people buy the 360 for Xbox Live alone. Don't get me wrong, PSN will improve greatly over the next few years (which is why I haven't sold my PS3 yet) but right now I prefer Microsoft's online services.
PSN is where Xbox Live was 4 years ago.
Live is constantly being updated, new features are implicated on a weekly basis etc.
I am working right now but will post my comprehensive list to why it's far better later, just for you.
PS. Are you really Trippin & Stoned?
i got gran turismo prologue today, mainly because it is cheap and i love the series, also it tuns at 1080p.
my god its good
I'd be interested to know what these new features are which are implemented every week too. Although to be fair, like I said previously I'm abit out of the loop when it comes to LIVE.
How do you get Live for £23/£28?

Oh yes! The full thing is coming out at the end of the year.

They'd be daft to release it on the 31st December if you ask me.
I never said anything about the 31st, but the end of the year is good in all three main markets. Christmas for Europe and North America, and New Year for Japan. Japan is getting FF XIII at the same time though, PS3 sales will probably go through the roof there.
What is 1v100?
Also what are the chances of it happening again if I get it repaired?

There aren't any!
When it comes to a comparison of the two, LIVE does two things that PSN does not. One is cross game invites, and the other is cross game chat.
Neither of those things however have anything to do with the respective networks, but rather the way the feature sets are implemented on the firmware of both machines. They simply do not exist in the PS3 firmware. PSN could handle that fine.
They are OS differences, not network ones. It's the same with a lot of things, Microsoft forces certain features on developers, Sony does not and places it in the hands of the developer. A classic non LIVE/PSN example of this are custom soundtracks. On the XB360, it's in the OS, all games can have that, on PS3, the developer can choose to do that. All PS3 games could upload replays of the gameplay to YouTube if they wanted to. GT5 allows for this, other games do not.
PS3 sales rise by 1,100 %
Sales of the Sony PS3 have risen by 1,100 per cent after the release of a new slimline version of the console by the Japanese company.
According to figures released by market analysts Chart Track, the Sony PS3 outsold other games consoles - such as the Xbox and DS Lite and Wii offerings from fellow Japanese manufacturer Nintendo- by three to one, and also enjoyed a week at the top of the UK's selling list for the sector.
Features editor at Gamespot UK Guy Coker said that the PS3 represents "the right product at the right price".
Commenting on the increase in success for the console, Mr Coker said: "They've [Sony] certainly had a really good marketing push, the marketing for the PS3 has always been very ideas-based and hazy and now marketing has been very simple."
The slimline PS3, which was released in August, retails at a lower price than the previous PS model and boasts a cut of two-thirds in energy consumption.
