Queen B
A film starring Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx. Maybe not the best movie ever made but it is certainly worth seeing, and one that stayed with me after seeing it.
It's based on a true story about a homeless man by the name of Nathaniel Ayers who meets a reporter from the LA Times and they build a friendship. Nathaniel is a former Julliard student now living on the streets of LA due to an illness (schizophrenia), and he spends his time on the streets playing various classical instruments..
CBS 60 minutes did a segment on Nathaniel and I just stumbled across it.. It had me thinking what a remarkable man this is. He's homeless but plays instruments like a professional. Link: Steve Lopez on Nathaniel Anthony Ayers -- latimes.com
