Did anyone watch this pile of shit?

Here's the story. I will give away alot, but not as if it mattered.
Two couples meets a german guy called Dimitri (?) at a pool party. Dimitri tell the couples about some ruins in Mexico... They form a team and goes to Mexico. Despite all the native people's warnings they deside to investigate the ruins, and once they get there they are attacked by some non spanish speaking mexicans that won't let them leave the place. Now they're doomed to stay in the ruins, and the frightining secret it holds is about to be revealed. The plants in the ruins are alive! They will attack you and invade your body.
That's about it, and one girl gets away at the end.
Now reading some reviews on the internet I noticed that the average score this movie hits is about 6,5/10 which to me is fecking outrageous. How could a movie ever get a 1/10 if this will get 6,5??? Looking at youtube clips you see people are pretty impressed with it overall...
Did anyone else watch this and found it to be the worst movie they've seen so far? I thought Transformers 2 was horrible, but this is three times worse to say the least. These stupid errors like calling a german person Dimitri? That's more like a russian! Or what about these two "greeks" that they keep refering to in the movie. The greeks will come and help us bla bla bla. The greeks are two party teenagers who you will see at the beach in the start of the movie, and then you see the back of them as they arrive at the ruins only to be the next victims.
