9.0 from GameSpot. They mourned it's unimaginative story-telling, these fellas should stick to RPGs.

I've yet to pick it up though.

Does it have any form of offline splitscreen multiplayer? From what I've read their seems to be a Skirmish mode with bots...can you play that with a friend splitscreen?

There is no split-screen multi-player.

I'm right at the end but I can't finish it. I'll have to settle down one night and give it a real go, for now I just keep getting killed. Maybe I'll go back and redo a few of the other levels to prepare.

The last level is tough.

I was going to play though the game again on Elite for the trophy, but cant be bothered.

I dont really like the game that much.

I am towards the end, I am kind of playing it for ages 1 night then not playing it for a week, its an amazing game but it lacks that special something that keeps your attention all the way through till the end.

The story is crap, characters are big dumb meatheads and the enemies all the same.

I played the game online for the first time last night and thought it was excellent.

If you're wondering why it took so long, I had been wary of going online because I don't play much fps and thought I'd get destroyed.

You could say that about most FPS games nowadays though, bar special gems like Half Life 2 and Bioshock.

It's a good solid FPS, some great stand out moments usually involving the fantastic graphics, but the story is dreadful.
