"The dressing room is just a disaster"

2nd post out of 3 today

We need to boot out Phelan and get Roy Keane in to do whatever Phelan’s role is.

These players cannot undermine ETHs project.

Someone needs to be kicking their arses every time they even think about trying to impose any ‘player power’ over the boss.

There cannot be any room for players to think they can slack off and be saved because they make money for the Glazers by merchandising themselves/not paying attention to the football part of their job.

The standards of winning must be integral to our operations

No one has made any justification in order to make Lingard look good. But I can see that your only point is too make Lingard look bad for some strange reason.
Well luckily for you my one opinion doesn't matter in the great scheme of things, Lingard is already regarded as a 'bad egg' by a lot of the fans eh, not so strange

What is strange is that instead of thinking you just go with the narrative that makes Lingard look bad. For example in the previous post you imagined a scenario where a conversation was limited to one sentence and when I told you that you have no idea about that your answer was to talk about how Lingard wasn't an angel as if it was relevant or would support your claim. What you think about Lingard doesn't substitute reality, I find him obnoxious but it has no importance in this thread.

Lingaard, Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Bailly, Henderson your little clique of whiny bastards.

Get rid of the lot. I'm guessing they clash with Ronaldo, Bruno, Dalot, Telles, Fred, De Gaea

Just poisonous now, I'm guessing the first group I've named will be removed asap

Absolutely, the club needs to be ruthless with this. Ralf will help. This BS has gone on long enough.

He said "I'm sure he won't mind be saying this" and I genuinely believe him. I don't agree with Scholes even half the time, but I don't believe he would share what he did if he didn't have good reason to believe that statement was true.

As for Lingard, what he's saying is 100% in line with what the manager says. It's actually the closest thing we've had to harmony in quite some time!

Keane has some serious flaws when it comes to people management, but if there’s ever been a situation that needs someone like him to go in and lay into people, it’s now.

So we know now who is (one of) the rat and who was the rat whole season.
My bet is that Rashford is another one.

I like how Jesse got exposed as one of the rats. We all knew but still

and on the contrary you say " No one has made any justification in order to make Lingard look good. "

When you say Lingard could be alluding that there's toxicity in the team, when he *could* be just taking a dig at Ralf that he can't control the team (many other allusions on what he meant ). You're turning Lingard 'opinions' as a positive , so listen, what I find strange is what I've witnessed of Lingard over the years has gave me an opinion that he's been a bad egg. Nothing you say will change that opinion, this Scholes incident just re-affirms an opinion I've had for years.

Give it a rest about 'narratives' and 'making Lingard bad' , this whole situation is already making him look bad to fans, check social media, so I don't understand your agenda on just my opinion.

Because Scholes does not like Rangnick at all for some reason. He hasn't had a good word to say about him from the start.

He is probably still annoyed Ole got sacked.

He either loves the club so much that he's leaking who the rat is, or he is very daft.

The latter. It's amazing that he openly said who told him that. He made Lingard look like a prat and himself look silly.

Yep. He shouldn't say that to anyone outside of the team. Especially not someone who works in media.
Literally impossible. Players have mates outside the first team squad.

He’s going to talk about his job to the people he’s closest too. Why wouldn’t he talk about the game to Rio, Scholes etc There’s a level of trust there.

Arguably Scholes broke that trust today and if I was Lingard I’d be fuming.

Plenty of times on Rio’s show he’s remained tight lipped around things. It can be done, Scholes has just thrown Lingard under a bus, look how rhe reaction to it is on here, for what probably was a throwaway comment between friends

Roy Keane to do the paperwork?

that’s what Phelans job is under Rangnick, he does the admin whilst Ralf walks around OT with a clipboard taking notes

“Lingard is source of leak. Call plumber”
“Damp patch under Bruno’s locker”
“Arrange eye tests for entire squad”

in all seriousness MP does the paperwork

How is not telling someone something 'literally impossible'?

You are the one who talked about Lingard not being an angel that's literally you making him look bad and you did it to support a made up claim. And him alluding to a toxic environment doesn't make his opinion positive, I don't really know how you went there. Also I don't care if you think that is a bad egg or not, I didn't ask you to change your opinion, I told you that this opinion isn't a substitute to a conversation that you haven't heard.

The funny thing about it is that I don't like Lingard but it doesn't mean that everything he says or may have said is wrong. It's not how things work.

Thats what I thought. Wanted his mate to continue and still believe United should be run like 20 years ago

Lingard goes around speaking to pundits about the dressing room.
The good thing is one of the dressing room snakes has been exposed.

Scholes isn't his mate he's a BT pundit
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
So you literally think he called up Scholes, because he works for BT, to have a dig at his employer on live TV, when if he wanted to do that, he could use Twitter/Instagram?

Who's the mouthy rat here though? I'm sure the dressing room is a bit of a disaster given this season, and he's told someone he knows. It's Scholes talking about it on TV..
He must be aware that the “someone he knows” is a pundit whose job is to be controversial on TV though?

As if Scholes and Lingard are mates

Do we know the kind of relationship they may have? Lingard was training with the first team during Scholes last couple of seasons.

I'd agree with that list and think you're spot on.

There's another 6 or 7 to go on top of that lot but that list of yours simply have to go this summer in my opinion

This is obvious and it's one of the main reasons the team is playing so shite, but everyone is on about their hated individuals or scapegoats. You can't succeed in any team sport when the morale is so low and everyone hates each other. Doesn't matter how good or bad you are.
That just sounds like most of the players deserve blame for a bad dressing room attitude, and if you think a particular player is a problem you're probably right. Maybe agenda posters need to spread the blame around, but it's hard to say they're wrong about anyone in the team being an issue. Who isn't an issue? Even De Gea has massive short comings.

I don't think it would take a genius to realise that the dressing room morale has gone to shit.

He isn't implying the players are fighting each other. He is implying that morale is rock bottom and they are probably unhappy with the staff and everyone else above.

Did you mean to quote someone else?

I mean, I'm not saying he isn't the one, but this is hardly definitive isn't it? Scholes said it was a quick chat and he could easily have meant that morale was poor. Which everyone knows it is, but nowadays people get shocked when public figures dare say anything negative and not scripted and prepped for tv.

Do we know the kind of relationship they may have? Lingard was training with the first team during Scholes last couple of seasons.

Nah, just my opinion. I can't imagine, he wouldn't have said that on TV if they were close. They may talk here and there from time to time after games or have a quick chat on events, but i just can't see it why they would be buddies and meet/talk on a regular basis. Scholes is a bit of a weirdo and the opposite of Jesse in almost every aspect.

Firstly, well if you can allude on things, am I not allowed to make assumptions of what else he maybe saying to ex-players outside of this "dressing room" opinion. It's natural to speculate on a player like him that I've had suspicions on for years on what else he may or may not have said to people outside of the club - will you lambast me for speculating, am I allowed too?

Let's be honest here: he doesn't come across professional in this situation and never really has come professional throughout his career

Secondly, I don't care whether Lingard is wrong, I just don't think he should be telling anyone outside the club about what's going in the dressing room, or comments/information/opinions on what it's like. I see you have a relaxed opinion on that, fair enough. I see that as leaking, you don't - fair enough, I've seen him as a toxic player throughout the years that he's been here - if you don't fair enough, let's leave it at that.

They are both weirdos though, so maybe they clicked.

Paul 'I'm sure he won't mind if I expose him as a rat' Scholes.

Brilliant by Jesse!

4 more games and we're rid of most of the rats.
