I don't understand how out of all the characters in Family Guy, Seth McFarlane decided to give a spin off to Cleveland.

Watched the show last night, and it was poor. Very poor. The humour just isn't the same and it was never going to work without Peter, Stewie and Brian.

Just stick to Family Guy Seth ffs !
 
I saw the first ep just to see how it was and i was really shocked at how poor it was - granted family guy has tailed off a bit but its still quite funny but this was horrible! I was looking at the imdb forum on this show and some guy thinks that it was made to be bad because thats what makes it funny but i just think its crap
 
Saw the first episode and like many have said it was quite horrible. Will stick with it for a bit see if there is an upturn. It took me a while to like both Family Guy and American Dad although the latter I watch for the sake of it now.

Exactly right. It's almost identical in style, at least with American Dad they put a concious effort into trying to make it a different show. The other issue is that it's a hit and miss show when it comes to the jokes, with an alarmingly high level of misses. Second episode was a slight improvement though.
 
I thought it didnt look very promising havent seen it yet, but not going to actively look for it haha

Should have done a Quagmire spinoff if they werent doing one of the main characters; However, I think a Stewie and Brian Show would have been absolutely fecking hilarious

This thread made me go check out an episode to see how bad it was, and yes, it sucked. Really a bizarre choice of character for a spin-off.
 
No fecking way that would have been the same night as the one when Stewie and Brian and traveling dimesions that one was fecking funny

No the second episode... along with the Simpsons and Ms.K being a drunk, and Louis finding out she's a jew
 
Speaking of which, anyone see that American dad episode where Steve goes to a 'nam re-enactment :lol:
