The Biden Presidency

The fact that he consistently and loudly calls out the actual problems makes him very different to the standard Democrat.
In my view a standard democrat projects a left leaning image to win votes, whilst taking corporate bribes and shafting the American people behind their backs. That's a democrat.
When the election campaign hits Bernie is there fully supporting the same party that the oligarchies fund. While Bernie submitted a resolution to oppose some weapons sales to Israel at the same time he pushed for Biden to stay as the nominee.

Now this is probably more due to stupidity than malice but ultimately the function is no different than most democrats.

I did like Bernie and was hoping he would win in 2016 & 2020 but there comes a point where you have to question his strategy. And his non stop praising of a president committing genocide is disgusting.

He said they're not guilty so they shouldn't fear any investigation if that's the case.

It's quite tragic to see him set this precedent for an acting president just handing out pardons left right and centre for your own administration right before walking out the door.

I don't quite get the whole pre-emptive pardon thing. How can you pardon someone that hasn't been convicted? To me who knows nowt about the US legal system, it seems a bit iffy.

Good riddance. The way he greenlighted the Israelis to massacre tens of thousands of innocent people in Gaza will be his legacy.

How is this pardoning system democratic, no different to a dictator letting his mates off.

The Democrats allowed the rise of fascism by pushing Biden forward when they knew he was incapable.

Another example of typical centrism.

Doubt there's been a bigger hypocrite than this clown in politics in recent times. Talked about so much BS and moral grandstanding about Trump misusing his powers for family members and then ends up pardoning all his family for a 10 year period, which is absolutely corrupt and insane.

I don't know who was worse him or bush, I'm glad he's finally gone and his terrible democratic party.

feck you genocide Joe. Hope he sufferea at any level, physically and emotionally

Apparently the Democratic Party are gone forever.

This is much better.
The forum rules forbid me to say what I really think about this kind of posters. The wisest way would be to ignore them but Jesus Christ, it's getting harder and harder.

Seems like it was Biden's plan all along. Can't believe he would do that.

It’s just a really odd graph to use to dunk on Biden. Apart from the whole continuation of a long established trend thing it looks as though his presidency coincided with the biggest increase in wealth for the bottom 50% that there’s been in decades. If you had to sum up the “Biden effect” based on that graph it’s a dramatic increase in household wealth for all Americans while he was in charge.
