Cool.. I guess. If the only thing that's new is graphics and voice acting I can't really see the real value of remaking an adventure game if the puzzles stay the same.
I preferred when it was 2D.
I'll reserve judgement until I play it but if the last installment is anything to go by, it might be a disappointment.

I love Monkey Island, can't remember the name of my favourite though.
Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle would be more than welcomed next

I've got Scummvm running on my DS with the first 2 Monkey Islands, Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle and Fate of Atlantis running on it. You can run it on a PC too as far as I know.

i got special edition of monkey island on xbl arcade today, played through twice, just as good as it was back in the day, did my speed run in 1 hour 47 minutes, it put me 14th on the leaderboard, although im down to 17th already

I'm waiting for it to come out on wiiware. Then i'll buy each episode through that.
I haven't got it yet but will do soon, should be cracking.
Anyone been playing this then? I've played the 3 episodes but it just doesnt have the same feeling as the old games for me. It's certainly half decent and playable but feels nothing like the first time I played CMI and MI2.
