I completed this for about the billionth time the other day and it is still as great as when I first played it. Not many games can keep you coming back but this one certainly can, everything about it is brilliant.

Still not got 100% of the items though, 99% is my highest. I will consider my life a success if I reach 100% without referring to walkthroughs.
 
My fav game. I must've completed it 5 times. Shame the follow ups were utter gash. Should never have been FPS.
 
I enjoyed Metroid Prime for the GC; admittedly it wasn't as good as Super Metroid but I still enjoyed it.

Not played any of the other's after that though.
 
I don't think it should ever been a FPS. It lost so much of what made Super Metroid is fun to play. I hope they see sense and make Metroid 2D with 3D graphics. Much like LBP and SF IV.
 
Maybe if the demand is there, which I'm sure it is.

Are they working on another Metroid game at the moment? The Wii version generally got good reviews.
 
Not sure, but they probably are. I was actually surprised when they went FPS, mainly due to the fact the Japanese hate them.

feck me, are Japanese birds fit.
 
yeah, but the decent looking ones are a cut above. Kinda cutesy but devilish at the same time.

I want one, goddammit.
 
Why settle for one when you can have two?

Loved Metroid on NES and SNES, but disagree with those who disliked Metroid Prime, thought it was top quality
