Don't know if you can class this as Entertainment although it does incorporate music, videos etc so feel free to move it.

I've just got this W995 and it's a brilliant phone, loving it. Just been on facebook via the wi-fi on it in work and it's just class. Really nice looking and an 8.1 MP camera to boot. Plus the walkman facilities etc although I do have an iPod. This thread will mainly be filled by the "get an iPhone mate" sorta people but wanted peoples views.

Anyone got one?

Out of interest, how big are the files for the photos taken with that large MP?

Did you have a look at this

Sony Ericsson X2

Has more or less the same features if not more and looks classier!

Never asked about that to be honest. Did it over the phone as lost my phone in a taxi last week haha. Big fan of Sony Ericsson's.

Me too...my sony ericsson p1i is still working fine after 2.5 years and it has wifi and touchscreen so i dont need to buy a newer phone.

That's not bad actually for such a large image, what kind of memory does it have?

Is the camera actually any good? As its the lens rather than the MP size that gives quality images.

Camera is good yeah but haven't really tested it to it's full ability yet. The images are clear and it has various options you can use.

This is a little review on the camera :

CAMERA: it's the best camera on a Walkman phone yet

The Xenon flash is downgraded to standard LED but most of the other Sony Ericsson features are there, including an image stabiliser and auto focus, as well as smile detection and the marvellous BestPic, which takes seven pics in quick succession, both before and after you press the shutter, to ensure you get the best snap.

There's also a 16x digital zoom, macro setting and panorama, though we found this didn't stitch the three images together as easily as some versions of this feature.

Pictures were great in comparison with lesser camphones, but not quite up to the top standard of the 8 megapixel brigade – close inspection revealed a modicum of blurring and a bit too much purple fringing on the edges. It didn't seem to handle bright light particularly well either.

Video provided better quality than we were expecting, though it's still a drop in standard from the still picture images.

Sounds pretty good for what cameras on phones are used for, some good features there.

I had always heard the camera on the iPhone was shit, but I've been impressed with it so far, nice clear images. I have a proper dslr but for something thats always in your pocket its great, sounds like you've got a good piece of kit there pal.

get an HTC Magic - they are quality. I work for Vodafone and pretty much everyone who works there uses a Magic, loads of apps, great internet functionality and search engine (made by Google, so duh). Better than the iPhone i reckon.

What's a HTC Magic mate?
