Son Heung-min | arm no longer broken | heart could be

Bop? Nose?

Sorry chick i'm not buying what you're selling.

1) Son wasn't playing the ball was was assaulting McSauce. No, he bopped him on the chest.
2) He got his cheekbone. Unless you think his nose is on his cheekbone.

PGMOL to Sky Sports read: ‘It wasn’t part of McTominay’s natural running movement and it was careless.’ So, where were Son's hands on McSauce?
I was screaming abuse at the time but calmed down later, obviously helped by winning (against the overrated, cheating, non CL qualifying wankers) but today has made me think about not just Son but VAR ref (the PGMOL excuse is shocking if they honestly think that), the use of VAR (showed 1-2 seconds in slow mo) but the ref himself.

He was about 10 yards away with an absolutely clear view of it and saw nothing wrong with McTs running action... no blocked view (like he has for the Rashford incident... NOT referred), no poor angle, saw it clear as day. And they said VAR wasn't supposed to re ref games... absolute bollocks.

If they'd said there was contact and the ref said he hadn't seen the contact, I'd be pissed but it would make some sense.

British refs and their bosses are idiots

And my mood isn't helped by Spurs fans wumming. Meant to be banned for deliberate shite talking.

He looked pretty embarrassed after the match and couldn't even look Mourinho in the eye as they walked past. Probably egged on by The Toxic One to be a "cnut" and got publicly panned as a result. If there's anything about South Koreans is that they care about their clean image a lot. Son is household name in Korea and huge role model for the young Koreans. Also his father is his main trainer and a well-known authoritarian. He will not like this backlash.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a bust up with Mourinho behind the scenes.

Thats the weird thing about yesterday, I dont watch Spurs every week (thankfully) but Son never struck me as that type of player before. Yesterday was embarrassing.

If you watch that Amazon documentary, Jose tears into Son and other Spurs players for being too nice and for not going down under challenges. Jose has turned him into a scumbag where before he was one of the few good eggs inside a club full of scumbags.

Someone on here last night called them Poundland Grenada and I thought it was an excellent comparison. Horrible team.

The culture over there is very different from the English one. Over here you can get away with shagging grannies (Rooney), have a gambling addiction (Owen), Drink-driving (Grealish). In South Korea its basically the end of your career.

I'm surprised at the "not that kind of player" comments. He's a great player but he's always had a nasty side to him, it's probably been emphasized under Mou but I don't see it as anything new.

Nor was PP referred for MG goal.

I see VAR as a political tool, sadly it's open politics. Last season muddlepuddle benefitted. This year?

South Korea has a rule where all young adults have to serve in their military. Imagine this soft twat having to do military service. Embarrassing. Although given the screams we hear out of footballers every week for barely any contact it's no surprise to see them rolling around on the floor after being slapped. WWE would be proud.

Park Park wherever you may be,
Son rolls around like a big pussy!
It could be worse, he could be scouse,
Rolling around in a council house!

To anyone saying Son didn't use to be this kind of player, he did. It just wasn't as apparent (nor as needed) during their good years under Poch. He's always gone down easily, and he's always had a nasty streak. He might have been encouraged to show that side more by Mourinho, but he's a grown man and he's doing it under his volition.

Only clip I could find (most get pulled). But shows..

(1) the ref was in a perfect position to view the entire incident live - as opposed to Rashford incident (not referred) where he couldn't
(2) McTs fingertip catches Son roughly on Sons right cheek? He goes down holding the left side of his face.... NO-ONE deserves racist abuse but he deserves to be lambasted as the cheat he is. The Spurs players/medical team don't come out looking great either though maybe give them benefit of doubt that they took Sons reaction as true
(3) Why only show a second of the replay to the ref and in slowmo? Taking it completely out of context... doesn't show Son trying to pull McT or that McT is a natural 'get off' reaction. If that was rugby, ref would say show me more/full speed and conclude it was natural... as did every ex footballer (regardless of club allegiance) including Jenas!
(4) To come out at HT and say it wasn't his natural running action shows a complete lack of understanding of how footballers move/react and VAR (Pawson?) and ref should be suspended

I wish he had said something about Phelan looking passed out.

He avoided having to serve in the military I believe because they won a gold medal in the 2018 Asian games

Someone on Reddit said a Korean news channel (KBS?) is calling Solskjaer racist for his comments on Son and saying he should apologise. Anyone know if that's true?

McTomminay was obviously smearing something at Son's face. Like hot sand or something and it disappeared easily.

How is it racist?

They probably got confused between the player Son and Ole talking about his son.

Well, Jose just had to change one player then. Poch had already trained rest of them into kicking, stamping, diving c**ts.

It’s every club at the moment. It seems like not a single game can go by without players facing torrents of racist abuse.
It's twitter. Scumbags hide behind the anonymity it gives them and spout vile hatred that they would dare say in real life. That's not to excuse it but it's the reason I wont go there.

It isn't. Just a propaganda channel making up lies because their national treasure was pissed on. Hopefully the club sues those cnuts.

Yeah, pile of shit. Managers always call out rival players when they so silly stuff.

Hopefully someone on reddit will explain how it's racist.

Whether Solskjaer decides to feed his kids or not, surely has nothing to do with Son's race?

Mourinho is right about Solskjaer not being a great father (lol), but that's about it. I'm pretty sure Ole's kids are fed well regardless.

This. VAR is supposed to help the refs if its inncidents they miss, not overrule them because a player and team is making mountains out of molehills

If they came clean and admited they fecked up then it would be easier to swallow, but you know they wont

McTominay should have also gone down screaming for the damage that Son did to his hand. Acutally I wonder what would happen if every football incident should end up in two players screaming for 10 minutes.
Welcome to Spanish football

Not sure why people are bringing up Bruno Fernandes here. The guy nearly missed a penalty because he had one eye and yet he wasn't taking it to the level of being unconscious on the floor needing the physio to revive him.

Isn't it obvious? I love Bruno, but he does these kinds of things every other game. Just last night, he was exaggerating a slight contact on his foot.

Spurs though....it was like they had 10 Brunos out, and all he was doing was falling over and screaming at every little contact.

What? That it's racist or Ole should apologise?

No! To both

Feck knows. This is the thread on r/reddevils...

The transcript on the thread says the news site says fans and Solskjaer racially abused him.

Such bollocks. I presume it's South Korea's version of Fox News.

Posters have made the argument that Son’s actions were more egregious because he stayed down for so long, and tbh that is a fair point. There is a difference and there was no excuse for what Son did. Still I don’t see how you look at that and think the ref should have blown for a foul on Fernandes.

I've just watched highlights of our 1994 team's match against Vinny Jones Wimbledon in the FA cup. Eric Cantona got absolutely taken out by Jones, fell hard on the ground and immediately got up to face up to Jones.

I suppose it's a different game nowadays.
