Simeone taking mind game lessons from FM 2008
Probably, McT is a very useful player to have. To say he makes one of the best midfield is a real stretch but my point is Simeone would rather say that than anything negative.Simeone would love McT.
Probably something to do with Juventus' massive struggles last season and this season in a much weaker league than the premier league, and being thoroughly underwhelmed when I watch them play football. Chelsea completely battering them in the group's as well plays a part. Last season them finishing top of their group doesn't mean much when they got knocked out in the Ro16 to Porto. Yesterday they didn't exactly play well against Villareal, but 2nd leg to come. Their squad is also very meh.How is Juventus winning their group stages in the CL with 15 points last season and again 15 points this season in 4th tier, and United losing to Istanbul and Young Boys in the third?
Not with Olé who was seeing his team lose to Young Boys and Istanbul.
Top top troll job.
I don't think he's trolling at all.
Considering we're currently 4th in the most competitive league in European football and in the knockout stages of the CL, is it such a stretch to believe other clubs see us as a top side?

It's incredibly flattering that others may think so, but we really aren't at the moment.
I get why you'd think that watching us week in week out, but we wouldn't be in the CL right now if we weren't a top tier club. The stats don't lie, mate.
No it is not such a stretch. But its all relative. If we mean CL favourites, we are certainly not there. Only 4/5 teams qualify as such.I don't think he's trolling at all.

Can't say I remember the performance too much but even that 1-0 win at home... Chelsea had 73% possession away, 1.30 xG to Juve having 0.85, Chelsea had 16 shots to Juve's 6... Anyway. It's the group stage. Don't think it matters all that much, it's just telling when a team gets battered and outplayed to that extent. We'll see, it's fair to put Juve on the 3rd tier as they are regularly in the CL knockouts. Squad wise I guess I forgot about some of the guys out injured too, and Allegri is obviously a much better manager than Pirlo last year so it's improved from that point. They still defeated Chelsea in the really important game. 1-0 but it could have been more. And Chelsea didn't create anything for 85 minutes... Losing the return leg 4-0 when they were already qualified and more focused on Lazio Atalanta surrounding that fixture is almost meaningless. Especially when they end up winning the group anyway. Having them under Chelsea is ok, but not 2 tiers under Chelsea. It didn't look that way.
Going out to Porto in the Ro 16 on away goals after extra time is still far better than going out in the group stage, after losing to f*** Istanbul. And they won the Coppa Italia and somehow secured the 4th spot.
I honestly think the 2 squads are fairly comparable. Both have some obvious weaknesses though.
Can the mods change the title to remove Simone and the quotes. Would be a fun thread.
That would put Lille as a top tier club if we used the same logic?
I love the club and hope we get to top tier status asap, but I simply wouldnt put us there right now.
That’s really telling about how xGs goals stats can be used so wrong. Chelsea taking 12 meaningless long distance shot with 0.06 xG each will add up to a 0.8 or 1xG total that in reality doesn’t represent anything. Can't say I remember the performance too much but even that 1-0 win at home... Lille plays in a comparatively weaker league than United. They'd be a midtable side or thereabouts if they played in the Prem.
We're not a top tier club on the City and PSG level, but we're certainly in the top 8 or so sides in Europe - potentially higher on our day, which does qualify us as a top side.
Not going to lie we were crapHow you all doing with that team from Salzburg .
yeah this will probably age terribly.
So... typical day on the caf ?Lot of dramatic, over the top crap in this thread
Trolling 10/10. That picture it seems like he said it right as that picture was takenMind Games 10/10
Never seen a more apt description of this current United team. The Sequel TrilogySimeone: "the star wars sequel trilogy was alright"
Needs to use his awkward, slightly rapey “more than you believe” catchphrase more. You knew Fergie wasn’t about that bullshit when he threw a “no question about that” out there.
Ah just having a bit of banter as in all likelihood you lot end the season as league champions while we spend another empty handed. Not going to lie we were crap
