The Glazers are done if he was to join a domestic rival so let's hope it happens in a strange way.

If he wants to leave, he should make it clear and make the necessary accommodations to facilitate his own transfer. Don't care one bit if he stays, as long as the club has enough time to replace him.

I think Ronaldo is doing this for the benefit of the club. He knows the people higher up in charge are lazy feckers who can't get things done efficiently so he's putting some pressure to scare the glazers, et al. If Ronaldo leaves it's not good in a way because right now the club is not in the best of states and when one of your main attractions leaves then it means less money for the glazers in terms of shirt sales sponsorships, etc... They'll be associated with being the reason that Ronaldo had to leave the club because of the unambition.

He's not a great fit. Doesn't press or massively contribute in build up play. Lost a yard and sometimes looks weirdly clumsy. An upgrade on Lukaku then, but not the solution.
It really isn’t. We only finished 10 points above 12th (with Ronaldo’s help) and we’re much closer to the 12th best team in England than we are to the likes of liverpool and Man City. We’re light years away from those teams.

Come on. He's no doubt one of the greatest ever, but he's a massive narcissist and only plays for himself. He came here because we offered him by far the highest wage while still offering CL games. It's fine to have a player like that in the team as long as he's producing, but don't be shocked that he wants to leave when the CL is gone.
To be honest if he wants to go then we should sort this by this month.

I don’t see how people could hold it against Ronaldo for wanting to leave at this stage of his career. He has 1 or maybe 2 top seasons left. We need a rebuild of historic proportions as things stand so there’s a very good chance he may never play CL or win a trophy again if he stays as it’ll take a lot longer than 1-2 years for us to get back to the level required. I’m sure he loves the club, but this is for the sake of his final years in football. He’s still good enough to be winning the top honours so why waste his remaining years here?

We actually need another striker even if he stays. I don’t trust the club to be able to sign two strikers if he leaves so we really need to keep him around for at least another season.
You have absolutely no idea about my feelings on him. Him signing for City wouldn’t have bothered me one bit, I couldn’t stand him anyway, and I still can’t now.
Imagine he comes here for one season and we finish 6th and have our worst season in memory then he fecks off. At this point I hope he does, you don’t rebuild with a striker that is 38 during the season wanting the team built around him.
