Redcafe Widget / Application iPhone

For those computer geeks out there, and coming from me I mean those those who are proper geeks and can actually make stuff that we can use technologically.

Anyone able to create a decent redcafe application that makes accessing the caf easier via the iPhone? You know, one of those "simplify" apps where you redcafe becomes a redcafe lite sort of thing.

I would create one in a heartbeat if i knew how, because even though I can access the caf through my phone, its just not as 'fun' to fiddle through it being in the same mode.

Would be cool .....

I think Niall said he was working on a mobile redcafe site to be more phone friendly. An app would be cool though.

I'd consider it if someone bought be an iPhone.

It's easy.

Go to the redcafe forum page, press your + button at the bottom of safari, and say "Add to Home Screen"

Still needs a fair bit of work - you can't create new topics for example which is a bit of a blocker!

I have no real problems using Safari on my iPhone to browse the caf.

That is gorgeous. Cant wait for it to finish.

Cina im not saying its TOO much of an issue, but any website would run even smoother if it was converted to an app or made into a lite version.

Quality! I was thinking about this the other day and honestly wanted to have a go at creating one, but good to see Niall ahead of everyone.

That being said, do all the apps have to be downloaded via the store? Or can sites just upload them from their own site?

I believe all official apps must be through the store.

Anything else would be downloaded through Cydia.
