I suspect you might have opened a can of worms there, but I have a hard time seeing any huge difference between the two groups myself tbh, but a couple of differences is that they seem to take another approach to politics and then there is the French speaking Quebec province that definitely makes them different than the U.S. And Ice Hockey is a huge part of their culture, while it's not that popular in the U.S.

At the end of the day, just because they are neighbouring countries and both former colonies they still are bound to develop their own culture. Other former colonies (who talk funny) like Australia has their own identity, just like SA and so on. Just because they were founded mostly by similar folks as the founders of the US doesn't mean that they are the same hundreds of years later or otherwise the inhabitants of the US would be exactly the same people as the English who settled the place wouldn't they?

Anyways, NHL 10 is going to be brilliant.

My aunt has lived in Canada for well over 40 years since she married a German Canadian (who she met when he was doing his Maths PhD in Manchester). She even sounds weird now as well.

Canadians = Englishmen with too much space
United States = Englishmen pretending to have irish heritage.

Well, its sort of a shame in this regard that Arthur Wellesley was not born 30 years earlier and dispatched to the Americas, as then we probably would still have the union flag in the corner of the stars and stripes instead of the 50 star thingy they have now, but then again, on the other hand, he would then have been too old to take on Napoleon, and we would have lost the Napoleonic wars, so in the great scheme of things, it's probably better that he wasn't.

You can turn around and go the wrong way in any race i think...but yeah this one it doesn't matter if your ahead...you all race the same track bu the winner is the last person left standing that doesn't blow up, so its basically getting weapons and blowing each other up

Normal race is certainly a bit of fun....I'm dying to get a 4 person race going though
