Doesn't come with Windows 7 but you can send off for a free upgrade from December

There's a Sony Viao at Tesco for £450 right now that comes with Windows 7 but I can't remember the specs.
If you just want it for basi stuff like surfing etc get an acer.
Assuming you want it for general/entertainment purposes, I'd suggest
