What a load of shite, if it wasn't for Daniel Craig I'd nearly rate this as the worst Bond film in history.

So you saw it, feck disappointed then, I didnt really rate Casino Royale the first time I saw it either, the only great Bond of the last 20 years in Golden Golden Goldeneye

Goldeneye was fab

Can't be arsed going to watch Quantum of Solace. That Bond girl looks great though, even better than Eva Green. I'm guessing she has a Russian/Ukrainian accent as well

Disagree mate. Thought Eva Green was much hotter. Anyway as far as the film goes, it was high on action with an abysmal plot. Having a sequel was a bad idea IMO.

I miss gadgets/flash cars and Bond being more of a womanizer. Craig is more gritty than say Pierce Brosnan who I'd say is more suave/charismatic, which for me makes Craig a bit bland at times.

Yeah dont know her name but have seen some great shots of her, Uber do you rate GoldenEye as top 5 Bond movie, because I do

Yeah, I'd probably go ...

1. From Russia with Love
2. Goldfinger
3. Goldeneye

Then perhaps

4. The Spy Who Loved Me
5. The Living Daylights

Casino Royale was a brilliant reinvention to the series, don't see how people couldn't like it.
This was just rubbish. I'd say the plot was terrible but there barely even was a fecking plot, and the action sequences weren't even that good, they felt like a cheap imitation of Bourne.

I'd agree that Goldeneye is awesome though, pity the rest of Brosnans bond films were so poor.

My feck I was gonna do my top three and those were it, after that I was undecided, I really liked the Spy Who Loved, The Living Daylights, The Man With the Golden Gun, and Moonraker, so I was like well I am not gonna do a top 5 LOL

Deep down who would you rather watch as Bond; Brosnan or Craig (I am talking about the two most recent so all you Sean Connery folks can put that aside for the moment)

I know I would choose Brosnan any day, not that Craig is a bad Bond, I just like the sauveness of Pierce

Craig, every time.

Anybody who rates Roger Moore Bond films better than Connery or Craig is out of their mind.

Brosnan is not a tough guy. Bond was a tough guy(Connery and Craig). Read the books.

Bond is a tough guy, not any of the actors. Dont feel like reading the books does bond ever hopelessly fall in love like a pussy a la craig in casino royale

Connery was class and maybe the best bond, from the ones I saw and Daniel Craig I think just annoys me. It might be that hd commerical he's in.

He fancies himself too much, maybe? I don't think it's right to want to see bond get shot in the nuts and thrown off a cliff is it? :D

I'm going to see this tomorrow night, bit disappointed that you lads think it's a bit shit, still I'm looking forward to it.

I'd much rather watch a Craig bond film, he's got me interested again, Brosnan must be one of the worst bonds in my opinion.

Hahhahahaha, Ice T is a tough Guy, I like Craig but come on PB was good

Daniel Craig anytime

yep, the guy is raw - which made casino royale so good - felt bond had become a bit bland - back to the basics was a good move - as for the new one, read some good reviews, but the the plot does sounds stupid.

I hope you are wrong, I was looking forward to watching it at some point this weekend.

Craig over Brosnan for me Alex. Though both are obviously not as good as Connery!

Sc was the best but come what has craig done to supercede GoleneEye nota

Brosnan and craig are good bonds but two different types of bond. Brosnan is the suave, I just smooth-talked my way into your wife's and mistress's panties bond, whereas craig is the hardass, i'll beat the shit out of you and feck your wife in front of your concussed body bond. I enjoyed casino royale, but craig has only done one bond movie that I've seen so I can't rate him above brosnan who was consistently good in 5(?) bonds.

He isn't writing the script.

Saying that, I can't bring myself to like him. They don't make them like Connery anymore.

Saw it tonight, it's fine for action, but a little thin on everything else. What's the deal with the fight scenes? The camera just seems to take big swoops across the action, you have no clue what's going on.

I don't think there was even a point in the movie where they tried to make it look like Bond was feckered. It was almost an attempt at being formulaic, yet still missing out on half the formula.

Not a terrible movie, but if it wasn't a Bond film it would totally flop.

I thought this was a bit shit. Most of the plot was pointless, and the random camera sweeps pissed me off. Some of the action scenes were way overdone as well.

Seemed overkill with the Bolivian General's character for him to be a rapist and all. You can see some scriptwriter there thinking "Hmm, this fella attempting a military coup just doesn't seem 'bad' enough, lets make him a serial rapist." Same kind of oversimplified stuff throughout really.

Still managed to be entertaining for the most part, and it will make a fecking mint regardless of the reviews its been getting.

Saw it before, nothing spectacular about it, and wasn't as good as Casino Royale, but still an enjoyable film nonetheless. Really enjoyed some of the action scenes aswell.

Still think Craig makes an excellent Bond.

They should have gotten david belle instead of sabastian focan in casino royale and given him a big role, that would have been fecking amazing

and goldeneye is definitely the best bond in a long long time

Yeah I said 20 years, but it is more like 30 years; the late 60s to late 70s were the age of Bond

I rated Moore as well, great Bond. Isnt he fat as feck too these

The thign i like about the new bond compared to Peirce brosnan is that Brosnan just doesnt come across as an assasin. Which Craig does. Brosnan looked more like someone caught in a situation by chance, not by proffession.

thats what bond was really like though

i liked it, yea there wasnt much of a story, but the action stuff was great, the whole revenge concept was great, and most importantly, Olga was great

hmm saw it last night, more of an extended part to Casino Royale IMO....was okay, camera during fight sequences was soo annoying though
