Has anybody experienced any deterioration in the batteries in their controllers?

A full charge seems to last a lot less in mine that it used to

Yep. But I always thought that was bound to happen.

Mine also have the occasional problem of not charging when plugged in.

I guess, but I wouldnt have thought batteries should deteriorate at a noticeable rate within a fairly short time frame, I've had the thing less than 2 years, and it's always done on a full charge cycle.

Guess I'll just have to get a new one when it becomes too bad to cope with.

No bother with mine, and it's about two and a half years old. Let it die completely before you recharge. That type of battery, depending upon use, should last you at least 5 years with no problem whatsoever.

Yea I always do it full cycle, fully discharged every time and then fully charged before unplugging. Its weird.

Maybe its just a duff battery, I'm sure it happens.
