Apparently there's a new movie coming up. It's quite old news(about a couple of months) but I just found out about it and couldn't see a thread on it.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” In 2011 - FilmoFilia

Set to release in 2011. No Orlando Bloom or Keira Knightley.. movie's based on a book by Tim Powers. I've read some rumours online saying that it's actually going to be a new trilogy.

From Wiki:
As detailed in The Art of the Pirates of the Caribbean, the proposed story for the fourth film is for Jack Sparrow and Barbossa to meet up in the newly founded New Orleans, before they sail to find the Fountain of Youth together

finally no bloom or knightley, brilliant.

Can't be any worse than the last pile of shit.

Agree that no Bloom or Knightley can only be a good thing.

Orlando Bloom - zero screen presence.

The first one was OK, the second was absolutely shite and I didn't bother with the third.

Me and the missus were in London for a long weekend at the time the 2nd was released so I decided to book us tickets at the Leicester Sq cinema which cost me a fecking fortune and I was that bored I was tempted to walk out. The cinema itself was wank too, we were about half a mile from the screen.

Aye, they still have some of those massive old school cinemas in London don't they?

I quite like em. Takes me back to my childhood.

None of this multiplex shite with a dozen screens, 100 seats and a picture size not much bigger than the average LCD.

 I remember when I was a kid going to the tiny cinema in Gatley - if anyone knows it - and the screen was probably about 50" with about 20 seats, I've seen better on MTV cribs!

Ahhh the Gatley cinema - I work right near there so pass it everyday! Shame it was closed down before I got started here.... well maybe not by the sounds of it ;)

I quite like the PotC series.

Pirates are ace.
