It's swedish.

Sure is.

One of my fondest childhood movie-moments. I remember they sent it as a miniseries on NRK, dubbed over to Norwegian. I bought it 3 years ago, and they spoke Swedish. Ruined it a little bit, still quality though. I talked to NRK and they showed no interest towards reviving a memory from my past.

I'm sending them another e-mail.

Oh ok. Mio min Mio is a classic. I've never heard about that other one either.

You swedes should watch it, it's a cartoon made loosely of Shakespeares "The Storm".

All of those are great Lance. Cobra scared the shit out of me as a kid.

The concept of The Night Slasher and his bunch of merry men climbing in through random people's windows and cutting them up while they sleep would do that. It doesn't help that Brian Thompson looks like a mutant. I distinctly remember requesting a night light after watching it for the first time.

The 'Burbs is a great call, Bill. I love that movie.

I remember watching Cobra with my Dad on Betamax :nervous:

The Burbs is great, I can't believe I didn't get round to buying it in my last 80's nostalgia DVD buying frenzy.

some great shouts here. Think I have seen nearly all that has been mentioned, except for the Swedish films Mexos was on about!!

In particular The Princess Bride (Andre the Giant was in that) and the Burbs are two I had forgotten.

Star Wars Spin off. (I got this on ebay a couple of years ago. Absolute shite, but I loved anyways)
