Nostalgia Time: 8 & 16 Bit Nintendo and Sega Games

I know of a website where you can play GameBoy Color, NES, Game Gear, Genesis and Master System games online, if any of you are interested.

Always remember this beauty.

Although my time was a little later with the N64, I could play a mean Sega Megadrive.

Shining Force II is still probably the first game which pops to mind when someone asks my favourite game of all time. Occasionally dust off my MegaDrive to this day just to try and play it. Thinking seriously about getting the MegaDrive collection on XBox just for this game and the original.

Why were so many games back in the day based on animals -

That NES TMNT game has to be one of the most difficult ever, me and my mate played it all the time and think we only finished it once.

been playing these games all day. Absolutely brilliant stuff! Cant beat the old games...(well, you can...but you know what i mean)

Some great picks already (Desert Storm, Streets of Rage, Road Rash - feck yeah!)

Although it came after Lakers vs Celtics I remember getting obsessed over this (and it's sequel Bulls vs Blazers) during my short lived basket ball period

It was cool as. The star players (Jordan, Bird, Malone, Barkley) all had signature moves. I remember you could instigate an unstoppable monster dunk from Charles Barkley from miles out

Some others fondly remembered and not yet mentioned (I had a megadrive)
