Is there some interest in having a weekly/monthly music quiz?

After this podcast script thingy was added to the site it's pretty easy to have a music quiz.

Example:

1. This song was popular in early 2000 and later that same year it was covered by another artist and gained popularity again. What is the song and what are the two artists/bands?

2. Some will say that this is a one hit wonder band. This song is from the same album as the hit song but is not as well known. Name the band and the song.

edit:
oh cock, it only allows one podcast per post. Anyways you're free to answer if you will and maybe we can ask Niall to fix this one podcast thing per post.

edit2: no it doesn't even allow my second post to have podcast
Oh well, that's thread failed then.

edit3: well I've got a new song for you further down. Therefore I've taken the podcast out of this post.

I haven't the foggiest what that song is, all i'm getting is a guitar riff and one that means nothing to me. Post up a link to the other song, see if i've got a chance with that one.

I thought the riff sounded like 'rage aginst the machine' - renegades of funk

Then I youtubed the track, and it sounds nothing like it.Stumped.

 Nice try anyway

The riff is 'fecking In the Bushes' by Oasis but I didnt know anyone else covered it?

Well the thing is if I post the whole song, some people will just google the lyrics. So that's out of the question.

tbf, I stole this from a music quiz my friend is hosting on his website and I misunderstood the question. The question was rather why it did gain popularity again, and that was because it was used in Guy Ritchie's Snatch.

I get you have to only post part of the song, but maybe the intro would have been better, there's an idea an intro's quiz.

And treble fail for even getting the question wrong so there wasn't an answer!

Well the intro to fecking in the Bushes has actually has some voice in it (from Snatch) so that doesn't work. After that voice the part of the song I posted starts. But yeah, usually it's the intro or a famous part of the song.

Here's another one. Hopefully this will work out better...

Q2: Famous english rock band, has been around for decades. What is the band, the song and can you find any connection between the song and Bob Dylan's Mr. Tambourine man?

I havent got a clue what the song or link is - would guess at Rolling Stones.

Pure guess as i don't recognise the piece again, Rolling Stones - Satisfaction. It was number one in the US billboard charts after Tambourine Man.

Although that doesn't sound like Satisfaction to me, so yeah probably wrong.

Yeah, I think the voice sounds a bit like Robert Smith but I'm not sure if it sounds like the Cure though.

hehe, I'm participating in a quiz on another website and I don't know the answers. Hoping you lot can give me the answers ;)
