Moyes So Far!

They ought to've backed him in the transfer market then. No point crying now is there. Let's hope they see sense and release sufficient funds next summer.

He clearly had some money to spend, but decided to buy someone who was not worth it and will probably not turn out to be a success here. Yes, he could probably do with some more but it's not as if he had no money.

I think as soon the media and fans get on his back the club will get rid.

One of my worries is that we could well risk losing a good 3 or 4 top players come the summer if we let things continue as they are. It'll make strengthing our squad to the level we expect even more difficult.

The thing is, as pathetic as it is, with they players we have earning the money they earn, and with the ego's they have, there was always going to be the risk that they just wouldn't back a manager like Moyes. That they just wouldn't trust him or get on board with his ideas etc etc, and sadly that looks to be whats happening.

I feel sorry for Moyes now, I really do.

Next summer? We will need something this january. No CL - not a chance someone big will arrive in the summer!

Life after Fergie never been a problem for me on CM/FM/Fifa.

We need to spend this years and next years budget in January. Need a midfield, LB who can defend and possibly a CB.

SAF knew how to get the best out of a team and mask the deficiencies in it.

Moyes doesn't know how to mask them.

I refuse to believe that this is the team's true capability. The team is massively underperforming under Moyes.

I don't think many would've been angry if he failed to win the league first time round. But at the moment we've won only 3 league matches and struggled to beat Palace and Sunderland.

He should fire his backroom staff and get Fergie's back. Can't blame players for not respecting a coach who still has frosted tips in his hair.

Well of course not, it's better than this. Though the problem is there have been issues with the squad festering (mostly with our midfield and makeshift defense) for years, SAF never addressed them, he just knew how to cope with them, but Moyes hasn't a fecking notion what to do with them.

I dunno I'm starting to get the vibe that he's a bit of a Football dinosaur, long balls and crosses, no craft through the middle. I thought we were a wee bit one-dimensional under SAF but this is taking the biscuit.

Then he shouldn't have got rid of the people around him that could have helped him!

I really want Moyes to do well here but he clearly looks out of his depth, and do we have time to let him settle? I wasn't concerned before about not making the top 4 but i'm starting to rethink that stance

Win or lose, there were a few people laughing at posters who said we might not get CL next year... are you still confident?

Horrifying football. Aghast.

If we can't get points against the minnows at OT then its unlikely they will come against the bigger clubs. Currently not looking good.

I highly recommend posts saying we'll be 11 back of Arsenal and out of the CL before the game is over.

Makes you look calm and reasoned.
