And again when did I say that he is the root of all our problems? I never said we were well coached or we had a perfect midfield or perfect defense :wenger: but what happens when you put a 36 year version of Ronaldo in that who can't do any defensive work and changes all attacking way that United were playing because he is only a poacher - it becomes a big problem even if its not the cause of All of our problems.
 
This is just personal pride of players knowing they have to band together to get the results, regardless of the manager who they may believe is incompetent.

Its a good sign we have the likes of Ronaldo doing this. He had all the money he ever needed by the time he was lifting the Champions League trophy in Moscow. It’s all about trophies and winning and that will permeate throughout the squad. There’s probably a bunch of other players in that squad who have that mindset anyway. Personal reputation and pride overrides collecting the weekly pay check for the boys at the top.

You're taking the piss with this and you know it. Citeh fans were creaming their pants at the thought of signing Ronaldo before we swooped in. Now suddenly "we never wanted him anyway". Guardiola, himself, when asked if Ronaldo is gonna sign for City or Unied said something of the vein "Ronaldo choose who he plays for" and basically insinuated that Ronaldo gave him the snub. Ronaldo himself in a private conversation said it is up to City or United. Now, as far as how useful he is a player, our playstyle is atrocious, so jury is still out. I definitely wouldn't blame him for anything so far, though. He saved our CL group and won us 6 points already. You insinuate that last season we were good before we finished second place, but that is utter nonsense. Last season we were the same shambolic side as we are today in terms of performances, only somehow we continued to be saved by Rashford, Greenwood or whoever. This year it is the same thing. And maybe Ole can get another top 4, but this is simply not good enoug given the amount of money he spent, the squad itself and our lack of clear and defined style.

I do think Ronaldo has created a few problems for us but he could also he useful. You're really stretching it with the whole City weren't really interested conspiracy theory. Pep wanted a Cf and didn't get either of his targets.

I'm way past 36 sadly and you are right. I won't. Of course he's not an ordinary 36 year old, most players are long retired by his age which is incredibly impressive, but acknowledging he's getting on isnt an insult and I'm not sure why your getting so angry about it.

Well considering Ole gets paid millions a year and still has no clue, needing some one else to back him, save his ass with last min goals etc is pathetic. He‘s a humble guy but sometimes you just have to admit when youre not up to the task. I quit my high end World of Warcraft raiding group yesterday as i just couldn’t cope with the playtime they put in each week and the high skills they demand. I quit admitting that im not good enough. He should do the same.
