Remember when refs got defended because they had to make the decision in a split moment? We all talked about what a hard job it was and assumed they would obviously get all the basics right if they had the time and support to watch incidents over again.

Turns out we can have multiple officials, allow them to watch things in slow motion as many times as they want. Slow the entire sport down for them. Remove the excitement from a load of goals for them. And they still have no fecking clue.

This is the thing. If the technology isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference then get rid of it. We’re putting up with all of the drawbacks for zero gain.
