Manchester United vs. Liverpool

I wouldn't be too surprised to see both Kagawa and Hernandez start. It's not what I'm expecting, but I wouldn't say it's not in Fergie's mind.

(Along with RVP of course)

Fantastic morning! Overlooked training at Carrington. They look really up for the game tomorrow. Giggsy scored the best goal ever!

Good stuff, Ronny.

Id love us to field all these bad boys we have over ladt twenty years....team of Stam, Cantona, Keano, Bruce....would love to see them kicking shite out of the cheat.

Imagine putting this team out for the occasion

Schmeichel

G Nev Stam Vidic Bruce Heinze
Robson Ince Keane
Hughes Cantona

That would be a hard team.

Id love to see Suarez calling Incey what he said to Evra.

Young Cleverly Carrick Kagawa

Rooney(if fit) RVP

I've got a feeling this could be the comeback of the Valencia we know and love.

United will focus down the right for the majority of this match, much like they have done against the better teams this season. Liverpool are without their regular left back and are going to have to put a makeshift left-back in, most likely Glen Johnson.

If it doesn't quite work out, Nani may be brought on to try something different.

I love how (most of) our ex-players always tend to keep in touch with the goings-on of our current side. It must be a great buzz for the current players when United legends hang around the training ground trying to catch a glimpse of their training.

Definitely. Shows the fantastic atmosphere Fergie has created at the club.

Everybody change your lineups, Giggsy is starting tomorrow.

I won't be surprised though, I would easily pick him over Valencia and play Young right.

I think Giggs will start. He's in fine form and nearly always plays against Liverpool. ...I also want to see this best goal ever Ronny mentioned  Shades of '99 maybe.

Be stunned if Shelvey starts. It'll probably be Henderson at the tip of the midfield three with Gerrard and Lucas deeper.

Our front 3 is the hardest to predict now that we actually have some options. Suarez + any two of Sterling, Suso, Downing and Sturridge.

Likely to be Gerrard, Allen and Lucas in the middle and Suarez, Sterling, Downing up front.

Manutd will look to close down space for Gerrard now he's finding his passing range. So their defenders will look to push right up to the half way line. But Suarez and Sterling's pace should put paid to that plan. One lofted ball and we're through.

With such a difficult set of tactics you have to play against, it's a wonder that you haven't beaten anyone who isn't shit this season.

It's lucky for us that you aren't a manager with tactical nous like that.

I suspect your combined Liverpool United XI would have ten Liverpool players in it.

I'm expecting a tight game that is won by a one goal margin. Your lot will be game raising as always and we'll underperform.

Can't sleep, going to bed in a minute. We've got to dish them a good pasting, just got to. They are rubbish, their team is poo, their players pretty much all stink and are past it, we've just got to overcome the 'rivalry' thing and their consequent game raising and batter them. We do that and I'm happy.

No Giggs or Scholes please. Carrick, Cleverley, Kags or Anderson. Too soon for Rooney as well. Its Old Trafford, lets unleash the dogs on them.

Ferguson said of the clubs’ comparative league positions, United first and Liverpool eighth: “I never even thought about that until it was mentioned on the television. I don’t really look at that. I look at that mob [Manchester City] that’s behind us, the team that’s directly behind us. Their programme, who they’ve got next. I do that all the time.”

Ouch! Cutting indeed.

Lol burn, I am nervous as feck for some reason.

Was out shopping this morning and these little runt's with Liverpool strips came up and started having a go at me 'gonna smash ye, gonna smash ye! DRUNK OLD cnut FERGIE GONNA SEE RED'.

I honestly thought this game was one of those 'up for it' games where we don't have to capitalise to get the 3 points.

After that little display of pedantry I want to fecking smash those cnuts. SMASH EM.

I really want us just to smash them. I know they'll raise their game but a good 4-0 is fecking due. I hope we dont go 2-0 up at the break and then just cruise 2nd half, I want us to go for blood and put them in their place.

Couldn't sleep, thought i'd grown out of that for feck sake

Off to the station now, c'mon United.

We owe 'em a biggy, 4-1, Young to score first.

We'll win by two goals, Suarez should score though, so I guess it'll be 3-1.

Quite confident, it's at Old Trafford, don't be afraid lads.

This would be my hardest United squad

Big Pete
Harry Gregg

Stiles
Vida
Stam
Brucie
Moran
G Neville
McGrath

Keane
Robbo
Scholesy
Crerand
Ince

Whiteside
Stapleton
Hughes
Cantona
Jordan

The red cards would pile up for that lot

Good selection Rams, but you've forgotten Big Jim Holton and Brian Greenhoff!

I've never been so tired in my life, but when it's United v Liverpool you can't help but feel pumped up. Looking forward to an afternoon in the heavens witnessing Liverpool FC's annual cup final at Old Trafford.

I hope by fecking god the lads will be up for this... I sure am. Let's beat the crap out of the feckers, I could hardly stand the sight of seeing Suarez and Gerrard celebrating (again) at Old Trafford. A 3-0 beating like in 2008 will do for me. COME ON UNITED
