Manchester United vs. Liverpool

I'd have loved to see Nani and Anderson start against the Dippers, though I think the match is probably a week or so too early for either of them to start. & also, it would be a little harsh on Hernandez and Giggs, who's been playing well recently.

Rafael----Rio---Evans---Evra

------Carrick-----Cleverley

Nani-------Anderson---Kagawa
-------------RvP

I don't think we will see Ando and TC start, as well as we won't see ANdo and Nani start if they are both coming back from match fitness?

Nah absolutely Jay.

Like I said, it's just a lineup which I would have liked to see, however unrealistic it is - especially considering the horrendous form Nani wa sin before his injury! Also, Chicha and Giggs probably deserve to start.

Anderson/Nani are good options off the bench though. If we need a pace/energy injection.

How will Liverpool lineup for this?

Something like

Reina
Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson
Sterling Allen Gerrard Lucas Sturridge
Suarez

?

Yes definitely mate, I expect them both to be involved and play a part in the game, and as good as Giggs has been, I wouldn't want him in this match as I think we will put 3 inthe middle (Which I would not want him to be part of) and with two wingers and one striker, with the two wingers when we play like this becoming inside forwards, and if that is the case, even an off form Valencia should offer more than Giggs in that role.

Lot of question marks still, I think if we knew the formation this would be a lot easier, but there a lot of ways to approach this IMO

Didn't think Gerrard was fit for the game, but yes that's typical of what they have been playing so far, maybe see Suso at a point and Sturidge will be /Downing depending on who he chooses...

De Gea

Rafael-----Ferdinand------Evans------Evra

Valencia----Cleverley----Carrick-----Young

Kagawa

RVP

Obviously if Rooney is fit, he'd take Kagawa's place.

I feel this game comes a bit early for Kagawa, Hernandez is in form and would occupy their defence in a different way.

Any body know what happened to Martin Kelly? He looked like a really good player everytime I saw him play for Pool last season.

Long term injury?

--------De Gea---------

Rafael-------Rio---Vidic------Evra

Valencia---Carrick--Clev-----Young

---------------Kagawa--------------

----------------RVP------------------

Tough call between Hernandez and Kagawa, I'd probably go with the former. Him & RVP are can be a nightmare for defenders, probably even moreso than Rooney & RVP (but Rooney offers more in his general play).

Has Shelvey been starting over Allen recently or something? I don't see why else the Guardian would have Voldemort in the starting line-up. Got to be worth a penny or two on him and/or Suarez scoring in that case - life is just that irritating.

Allen has lost his place to Lucas more than anyone given his role as a holding midfielder. Shelvey tends to play more advanced than Lucas and Gerrard (who have cooked up a decent partnership). I just hope we can cope with the numbers in central midfield.

Hernandez would be the more obvious choice given his goal scoring form and kagawa only just being back but I think we might need an extra midfielder in there with Liverpool very likely to go 5 in the middle. With hernandez RVP is likely to have to drop deeper to help out the midfield but I don't think we want RVP doing that.

But that said either would be good, wonder if Giggs might get it, in the middle with clev and carrick, he's been inform recently and Fergie does like to bring in the experience when he can.

In defence I think it should be Evans and Ferdinand. Vidic is stil coming back and needs time, definitely wouldn't go Vidic and Rio, both have lost/are missig pace and tend to play deeper and if you play both of them I think it's gonna allow liverpool to push higher up on that.
