Manchester United vs. Liverpool

As long as we don't play shit we can easily win this. We have plenty of firepower on the bench. Am expecting ando to come on during the latter stages and rip liverpool a new one. Just want to see us play at our best against the scousers.

Wellbeck over Valencia makes sense considering how wretched valencia has been.

Kagawa, hmmm, he has yet to impress me. Here's hoping he has a good game and really kick starts his united career!!

I think the front 6 is fine - just wondering whether Smalling would be a better fit then Vidic against someone like Sewerez.

Welbeck is no surprise. Fergie knows he will offer 20% more than everyone else against a bitter rival.

we have no pace in defence against a quick attack.

Suarez isn't about speed over a distance like an Henry/Ronaldo.He's very quick over 10metres and is very tricky, finding space when it looks impossible. It'll be about good cover

Kagawa starting could backfire he's been injured and the past 2 games since he's been back haven't been his best.

Aye, I worry about Vidic against him, I really do. He is prone to diving in.

Those are the worst kind of players for Vida, expect some crazy desperado fouls! If I remember correctly though: hasn't Rio usually handled Suarez?

MUTV report Lindegaard has flu and Evans felt his hamstring this morning.

Oh come on. Vidic has struggled against quick players before, but what centre back hasn't? He wasn't regarded as one of the best in the world for nothing.

I'm afraid to post any predictions since I jinxed a City game with my Gareth Barry the Pantomime Horse shenanigans...

Surprised by Hernandez's omission. Every time he's played against Liverpool since joining us Chico has scored. With Wazza out I thought he'd be sure to start especially as he seems to have regained a lot of his confidence recently and picked up his outside the box game.

Not a huge surprise that it's a hamstring injury for Evans, after all he played full 90 minutes in all our five games during Christmas/New Year/FA-Cup.

I am happy with him on the bench, get him on when Liverpool have tried legs and he will run rings round them.

Unless we're up by 3 or 4 by the 70th minute (which as much as I'd like for it to happen, wont) then that's when Hernandez will come on.
I don't really see Hernandez coming off the bench as a bad thing, I think it's very important we have a fit and fresh game-changer like him coming on the pitch for the last 20 minutes if we need a goal or two. He's certainly the first person I look for on the bench when the result on the pitch isn't going our way.
