It would be hilarious if we won by a 97th penalty won and scored by Evra after he had handled it in the box and divided over Suarez resulting in Suarez getting sent off, the conspirators would be going insane!

They would for good reason in that scenario... why would you want to win in such controversial and undeserving circumstances?!?

It'll never happen but I'd take a nice, comfortable battering anyday.

I'd rather a comfortable win of course Im just saying such a scenario would produce RAWK gold on an unprecedented level.

I'd rather we just go out and beat them convincingly with no controversy whatsoever just to keep them quiet.
 
Just had a dream about the match. Fergie started his press conference by saying he'd felt we'd played football which was too entertaining at Anfield over the years so wanted to punish their fans. For some reason Bebe was starting in goal too. Defence was Rafael, Evans and Ferdinand with Buttner at left back.

However Buttner couldnt make it to the game because his car ran out of fuel. So he had to work at a hotel to earn the money for fuel, but for some reason he turned into a dwarf and kept fecking everything up.

Fergie picked a midfield of Giggs, Fletcher, Scholes and Park with Welbeck and Evra up front.

I don't know what it means but I'm predicting a 3-0 win today.

Three was a Liverpool fan on the radio just now and he wanted to see both Suarez and Sturridge in the starting XI, if the above is accurate that isn't on the cards.

True! Losing today would be the only feeling worse than being embarrassed over the circumstances of a win.

That might just be me though, I am very much a 'moral high ground' type supporter!

RAWK is at its best when they really are shite and have no reasonable justification for the bad result. Then you get things like "they played badly on purpose in order to give some work to do for the new goalkeeper".

Same here, a nice 4 nil win, I'd also like us to have a couple of stone wall penalties so they have something to whine about even though they were correct decisions

Manchester United manager Ferguson: I don't even know Liverpool's league position.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has stoked up the rivalry ahead of today's lunchtime clash with Liverpool.

ALEX Ferguson says that he has "never even thought" about where Liverpool are in the Premier League this season, indicating how far he feels they have fallen behind Manchester United.

The United manager said that when he was told Liverpool were already 21 points in arrears going into today's meeting at Old Trafford it had come as a “surprise” and added that it would be a “disaster” not to be in the top four for any “big club” with ambition.

Ferguson said of the clubs’ comparative league positions, United first and Liverpool eighth: “I never even thought about that until it was mentioned on the television. I don’t really look at that. I look at that mob [Manchester City] that’s behind us, the team that’s directly behind us. Their programme, who they’ve got next. I do that all the time.”

He admitted that he was surprised to see Liverpool so far behind, adding: “Last year we were 30 points ahead of Arsenal and I’d never have believed that in a million years. If you look at the rivalry over the last 20-odd years it’s quite amazing.”

Liverpool, who have not won the title for 23 years, finished last season 37 points adrift of United – and the champions, City.

An absence of three seasons from the Champions League has hurt Liverpool and Ferguson said their failure had clearly affected their ability to attract players.

“If we weren’t in the Champions League it would be a disaster and that probably applies to other big clubs,” he said.

But Ferguson still regards today’s game against Liverpool as the most important ‘derby’ for United. “I know City represent a different outlook in the last five years but Liverpool were always the one and nothing will change. It’s not about the position in the league.”

Sunday’s match also marks Luis Suárez’s return to Old Trafford after refusing to shake Patrice Evra’s hand in last season’s corresponding fixture following the race row involving the pair. There will be a handshake on Sunday although there will also be further scrutiny surrounding Suárez after he was accused of being a “cheat” for his handball goal during last weekend’s FA Cup tie at Mansfield Town.

Mike Phelan, Ferguson’s assistant at United, was at Burnley on Saturday to run the rule over Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha as speculation mounts that United are about to sign him. It is thought United would loan him back to the Championship club for the rest of the season.
