Manchester United 0:1 Atletico Madrid (Sat 30th July, 12:45 UK time)

He is intense, he just made some poor decisions with his passing today. Not as bad as some are making it

Hee really isn't, he avoids contacts, plays a bit softly and doesn't really close down on opponents when we lose possession.

Good competitive game..enjoying it
Elanga brings so much energy than Sancho obviously not as skilful

Six on one there from Atlético. McTominay's going to be the only one booked.

Modern rules need to be implemented asap. Yellow card = time penalty.
That would stop fouling a lot and would benefit the pace of play and quality of football.

It's preseason, why go all in on every challenge? The work rate is there though. I havent seen anyone strolling around today, not even Rashy

A little silly but it’s not like he’s elbowed him.

McTominay is just a gobshite with zero quality. Can't wait for the day he's no longer on a first XI team sheet.

Think that’s one of the areas where Rashford’s game falls short — close control in those congested areas. Martial and Sancho seem a bit more natural with it whilst Rashford’s normally getting his pocket picked

Madrid have been dirty bastards all game and Scott is taking names.

Feck the haters

Safe assumption that whenever an Atleti player acts like he's been shot, he's faking it.

It's a game, not warmup and you play those games normally, you don't half arse it.
