Manchester United 0:1 Atletico Madrid (Sat 30th July, 12:45 UK time)

From what we've seen from Bruno in the pre-season, I wouldn't be totally opposed to seeing Eriksen start in his place for the league opener. He's one of the few squad members who hasn't improved his form from last season.

We have played with good intensity but don’t think we would be at athleti’s level if they were full strength.

Or more likely how many easy opportunities do they need to score

He is a bit out of sync isn't he? The rest of the team gets stuck in and play with intensity.
He is intense, he just made some poor decisions with his passing today. Not as bad as some are making it

Only Cantona can pull off that tucked collar up look.

Everyone else should be questioning their fashion choice if they try it.

Elanga hasn't been allowed to play. It's a bit harsh to have a go at him when Atletico's main tactic against him is to foul him.

Barca v Atleti, who will you support?

Oh Barca easily. Apart from this FdJ saga the only thing I dislike about them is their holier than thou attitude towards football.

But generally I'd be very happy if we don't play a Spanish side again. The German / Italian games are so much better.

Honestly. Reinaldo is battering him

My collar goes up without me noticing so idk if it's intentional for McT, but I don't think he's doing it to imitate Cantona - Scott strikes me as the kind of person who is a bit thuggish and it suits him tbh. Not bothered as he doesn't show arrogance and cockiness on or off the pitch like saying he's a god, king, or even one of the best players in the team. I'm okay with it.

EDIT wow of all the things he could do right after I call him thuggish xD ffs

It's in Atletico DNA to be a hateful team, they thrive on it, but some of their fans must be tired of it now after a decade of Simeone shithousery.
