Mac The Ripper Help

I just ripped a DVD, but forgot to change the save location from an external HD (which isn't attached anymore) to my normal HD. Now, the DVD has been ripped, but I can't find the files, and no error was given during or after the rip. I've searched all over the HD for it but can't seem to find it, but 7GB are now missing from my remaining space, so I know it's there somewhere.

Any ideas? I'm pretty sure it saves as a .VOB file, but when searching for it, nothing comes up.

what if you start to do another rip, see if it says where its going to go then just cancel it?

do a search for *.* on your hd

it should bring up every single file

sort by size, and you'll be able to find it

or sort by date, and you'll find it

Doesn't work, because it's "saving" to my external HD. That's what it says. But it disappears.

Cheers James, will try that. Only been a Mac user for a year and I'm still learning the ins and outs.
